The Italian company's exclusive Jujutsu Kaisen collection will launch at three pop-up stores in Japan on April 27. Two of the shops are are located in Tokyo's Shibuya and Shinjuku wards, while the third is in Osaka's Umeda district. The Shibuya store will feature a large display of Park's artwork and will only be accesible by customers who make a reservation beforehand. The collection will expand to Dolce & Gabbana's other locations throughout Japan on May 2. The clothing company has not announced plans to sell any goods from the collaboration outside of Japan.

Dolce & Gabbana is a high-end fashion company founded by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in 1985. The company's new anime team up will be released as part of the D & G brand, which is aimed at a younger audience than the fashion house's usual clientele.

By most standards, D & G clothing isn't cheap, but the producers of Jujutsu Kaisen can certainly afford it, as the series has rapidly become one of Japan's biggest entertainment properites. The franchise debuted with a manga by writer and artist Gege Akutami in 2017 and is already one of the best-selling manga of all time, with over 65 million copies in circulation worldwide. Akutami's manga was also the best-selling series overall in Japan in 2021, narrowly edging out the reigning shonen champion, Koyoharu Gotouge's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, for the top spot with a whopping 30 million copies sold in that year alone. A well-received anime adaptation completed its first season in 2021 as well, and was followed up with the release of the franchise's first movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Released in Japan last Decemeber and internationally in March, the movie has already become one of the top ten highest-grossing anime films of all time. The anime's producers recently confirmed that the show will return for a second season, which will air sometime in 2023.

The first season of Jujustu Kaisen is available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Gege Akutami's manga is available in English from VIZ Media.
