Though he's a man of few words, Toge Inumaki is truly a showstopper in Jujutsu Kaisen. When fans think of characters who steal the spotlight, they think of outgoing individuals who have flashy powers and bold personalities. Toge, however, rarely speaks and appears somewhat aloof.
Though cursed speech is rare, its impact is instantaneous. To avoid accidentally cursing one of his friends, Toge speaks solely in rice ball ingredients. When he uses his cursed speech during battle, his enemies are destroyed in the blink of an eye. Throughout Jujutsu Kaisen, Toge Inumaki has proven that he's an indisputably strong sorcerer.

8 Toge Told Megumi & Noritoshi To Run Away During The Goodwill Event
Principal Gakuganji's plan to use a semi-grade one cursed spirit during the Goodwill Event to kill Yuji was a complete failure. Though he meant for it to target Yuji, Toge came across it instead. Just when Toge was about to use his cursed speech technique on the creature, Hanami came out from behind a tree and swiftly beheaded the other spirit.
This was when the plan formulated by Mahito's group began unfolding. Toge opted to flee from Hanami and dodge its attacks until he found Megumi and Noritoshi. Toge used his cursed speech and ordered the two to run away from the scene. Though they still had to fight Hanami, Toge certainly bought everybody some time to figure out the cursed spirit's strengths and weaknesses.
7 Toge Helped Yuji Take On The Mutated Humans
When Yuji arrived at the station in Shibuya, he was overwhelmed by how many mutated humans were running amok. The mutated humans were attacking innocent people, and Yuji was outnumbered. At this point, Yuji outright admitted that there was no way to save all of these people.
Luckily for Yuji, Toge showed up at the perfect time. As soon as he arrived, Toge used his cursed speech to swiftly deal with the significant number of mutated humans wreaking havoc on the station.
6 Toge Demanded Suguru To Crumble Away
When Suguru unleashed the infamous Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, he let the cursed spirits wreak havoc in several places while he stayed back at Jujutsu High to target Yuta. Once they bypassed his curtain, Toge and Panda held their own against Suguru for a while.
When Suguru pummeled Panda's face into the concrete, Toge was steadfast in using his cursed speech to demand Suguru to "crumble away" in an instant. With this command, Suguru was crushed inside a colossal hole in the ground. Though speaking such a powerful order had immediate adverse effects on Toge, it was an impressive show of his power.
5 Toge Inumaki Proved That He, Indeed, Loves Trolling Others
In Volume 5 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege Akutami included character profiles with trivia about a few characters. In Toge's profile, it says that he loves trolling. Though his sense of humor isn't frequently shown in the series, Toge has proven that he enjoys joining in on a good prank.
In Episode 10's Juju Stroll, pieces of Nobara's uniform go missing. Little to her knowledge, she and Maki are being pranked by Panda, Satoru, and Toge. After Panda feigns obliviousness while blatantly wearing Nobara's jacket, Toge bursts into the room, boldly yelling out "Mustard leaf!" He strikes a dramatic pose while wearing Maki's pencil skirt. Though this was only a short bit at the end of an episode, fans appreciated seeing more of Toge's sense of humor.
4 Toge Recovered & Instantly Killed A Cursed Spirit
During the Cursed Child arc, Toge and Yuta were sent on a mission to exorcise a cursed spirit at a shopping mall. Though Toge successfully exorcised one, Suguru planted a more powerful curse in the mall because he wanted to see Rika's potential.
If Toge uses his cursed speech too much, he risks damaging his throat. Since Toge had already exorcised one, trying to exorcise another was pushing his limits. When he tries to command the second spirit to "twist," the command only damages the spirit's arm. Toge ended up coughing as a result. After Yuta bought Toge some time while fighting the curse, he throws Toge the cough syrup he dropped while they were retreating. After downing the cough syrup, Toge demanded the spirit to "get crushed," killing it instantly.
3 Toge's Cursed Speech Forced Aoi To Stop Fighting With Megumi
Before the Goodwill Event, Aoi Todo and Mai Zenin paid the first-year students of Tokyo Jujutsu High a visit, mainly to intimidate them. When Aoi asked Megumi what his type of woman is, he was displeased by Megumi's answer. So, he initiated a brawl with Megumi due to his unsatisfactory response. The fight went on for quite some time.
Just as Megumi was about to put Aoi in his place, Toge interrupted their squabble by using his cursed speech to stop Aoi's movements. It's unclear who exactly would have won the brawl, but Toge, once again, showed up at just the right time to prevent something catastrophic from breaking out between the dueling sorcerers.
2 Toge's Phone Call Put Miwa To Sleep
After Panda handed Mechamaru's cellphone over to Toge, he used it to call Miwa. This phone call put Miwa to sleep instantly. Toge used his cursed speech over the phone to command Miwa to fall asleep, causing her to pass out in the middle of the forest.
Even funnier, Toge nonchalantly handed the phone back to an incapacitated Mechamaru after discarding the machine's dismembered arm. Then, Toge decided to pet one of Megumi's Demon Dogs before telling them to return.
1 Toge Used Up His Strength Against Hanami
Since Toge's cursed technique cannot be used repetitively, he tries to use it when it counts. During the Goodwill Event, he used his cursed speech with varying amounts of strength. Even though his throat was already suffering the consequences, Toge wanted to make sure he could stop Hanami, even if it was just momentarily.
Just a few minutes prior, Toge's throat gave out from the power of his commands. Yet, with a bleeding throat, Toge stood up and demanded Hanami to "blast away." Even though Toge passed out afterward, the strength of his command blew up the roof and sent Hanami flying through the forest.
