On several different occasions in the manga and the anime, Megumi demonstrates a willingness to sacrifice himself to save the people he cares about. Episode 21 of the JJK anime shows Megumi laying down a sacrifice bunt during the baseball game vs. Kyoto. This is obviously a symptom of Megumi's habit of putting others before himself.

Though Gojo and Yuji may approach combat with a bit too much confidence, Megumi enters each fight with far too much doubt in his mind. The moment Gojo instills a bit of confidence in him by pushing him to stop playing support, he unlocks the first stage of his Domain Expansion Technique: Chimera Shadow Garden.
8 Strength: The Ten Shadows Technique Gives Megumi Access To Ten Powerful Shikigami
The Zenin Bloodline has reigned over the world of jujutsu sorcery for so long because of Projection Sorcery and the Ten Shadows cursed techniques. Though Megumi doesn't share the Zenin surname, his cursed technique and lineage tie him in with the Zenin family.
Calling the Ten Shadows Technique a strength is a massive understatement considering the power hidden within this cursed technique. Manga fans have already seen Mahoraga in combat during the Shibuya Incident arc. This display of power and a short bit of dialogue from Satoru Gojo should push fans to start considering that Mahoraga may be stronger than Satoru Gojo himself. Megumi's technique is so powerful that even Naobito Zenin wrote the young man into his will, even though Megumi has never even worn the family name.

Though Sukuna complimented Megumi for his willingness to enter hand-to-hand combat to assist his shikigami, Aoi Todo and Noritoshi Kamo clarify that he has a long way to go before counting hand to hand combat as a strength.
Considering the massive buffs that Megumi's Ten Shadow's Technique offers the young jujutsu sorcerer in combat, any amount of hand-to-hand combat would prove useful if Megumi hopes to live up to his father's example. However, he will have to spend a few more days in the gym with Yuji and Todo.
6 Strength: Megumi's Independence From The Zenin Family Allows Him To Think Clearly
Though Megumi has benefited from the Zenin bloodline, he has maintained a healthy distance from the families' drama. All the expectations and pressure that Maki and Mai have had to deal with during their upbringing had little to no effect on Megumi.
When comparing Noritoshi Kamo with Megumi, it becomes obvious how important this independence is. While Kamo wastes time and energy living up to his families' expectations by cursing Yuji Itadori, Megumi befriends Sukuna's vessel to respect Yuji's strength and kindness. While fans still don't know which young sorcerer has made the right decision, Megumi's independence frees him from a set of restraints that almost every other member of a top 3 jujutsu family seems to be carrying around with them.
5 Weakness: Megumi Is Sucker For Nice Guys
The conviction to save others from harm is admirable, but it does open Megumi up to the threat of deception. While it isn't necessarily fair to use the case of Sukuna and Yuji as an example since it is such a unique situation, Sukuna proves that Megumi's willingness to save those he believes are kind can come back haunt him.
By saving Yuji Itadori's life, Megumi also saved Sukuna. The King of Curses spends most of his time hidden inside Yuji's body, which justifies Megumi's decision. Still, whenever Sukuna is freed, he goes on a killing spree that Megumi has to feel a little guilty about.
4 Strength: Megumi Can Trust & Respect His Allies Decisions Without Second-Guessing Them
Megumi's independent approach to the jujutsu sorcerer could also serve as a weakness if the young man were not already proficient with trusting and respecting his allies' strength. Despite being one of the most powerful jujutsu sorcerers alive, Megumi is always willing to sacrifice himself to prop up his allies.
Relying on others can often be seen as a weakness, but Yuji and Nobara's reliability proves that Megumi's trust is well warranted. Yuji and Nobara are not just competent but powerful enough to make good use of Megumi's self-sacrificing habits and prove that a little bit of trust and respect can go a long way.
3 Weakness: Megumi Keeps His Past Close To His Chest, Even When Pressured To Reveal The Truth By His Closest Allies
The stoic personality that Megumi wears with confidence throughout the entirety of Jujutsu Kaisen has drawn in a lot of anime fans, but it also has its drawbacks. By keeping to himself and failing to express his personal emotions, Megumi leaves an opening in his character that a true villain could easily take advantage of.
The first season dramatically plays with this weakness of Megumi's during the Death Painting Arc, when the young jujutsu sorcerer attempts to exorcise a special grade curse on his own. Megumi does manage to defeat the special grade curse and save his sister, but if Yuji and Nobara hadn't seen through Megumi's stoicism, he surely would have been killed by one of the cursed wombs that were hunting down the same Special Grade Cursed Spirit as well.
2 Strength: Megumi Is Motivated By A Powerful And Personal Sense Of Conviction
Megumi makes it abundantly clear that he is no hero. Megumi is a jujutsu sorcerer that saves people based on his own definition of justice. Though this sense of justice may be skewed, Megumi still lives and dies in his own conscience's direction.
This sort of personal conviction is rare, though significantly less so in professions that demand self-sacrifice to ensure the well-being of others. Jujutsu sorcery is one of those professions, and Megumi manages to stay sane by sticking to his personal conviction through thick and thin. So far, this conviction has helped keep Megumi stay alive, despite being well outmatched by the threat of Sukuna, Mahito, and Pseudo-Geto.
1 Weakness: Megumi's Cursed Techniques Are Too Powerful For Even His Impressive Levels Of Cursed Energy
Satoru Gojo has mentioned that Megumi has the potential to surpass even his seemingly limitless power on several different occasions. Megumi's practical and stoic nature makes it clear that he does not see the same potential in himself, which likely has something to do with his limited supply of cursed energy.
Megumi wields a very high amount of cursed energy, but his cursed techniques are so powerful that he has been rendered unconscious more times from exhausting himself than losing a fight.
