The rumor from IGN is that the studios are eyeing a spin-off starring actor Vinnie Jones. Their article noted, “The speculation started when director Joe Carnahan hinted he might be taking charge of the project on his personal blog. However, a rumor is floating around that a deal has already been struck and the strike could be over by Kwanzaa. This comes from reporter Nikki Finke, who even Bloomberg Business News acknowledges is kicking butt on strike coverage.
