In the Marvel Universe, there are few foes who are as fearsome to confront as Cain Marko, the unstoppable Juggernaut. Empowered by the god Cyttorak, Juggernaut is incalculably strong and durable and when he's in motion, nothing can stop him. Juggernaut is a guy who has gone toe to toe with some of the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe and walked away from the fight. He's even knocked out the Hulk before, which is kind of unprecedented.

Recently, he's even got a power upgrade from Cyttorak, making even stronger and durable and lessening the power that mental abilities had to beat him, so now he's even more unstoppable. So, if Juggernaut went head to head with the villains of the DC Universe, which ones would be able to beat him? Which ones would prove the adage, "Nothing stops the Juggernaut!"?

10 Would Lose To: Mordru

The evil wizard Mordru in DC Comics

A Lord Of Chaos, Mordru bedevils heroes in the present and future. With his tremendous power and knowledge of magic, Mordru is a daunting opponent able to take on whole teams of heroes. One on one, there are few who can match his magical might.

As powerful as Mordru is, he wouldn't be able to trump Cyttorak's gifts to Juggernaut, but he wouldn't need to. He'd be able to protect himself from Juggernaut long enough to figure out the perfect spell to put him down.

9 Would Defeat: Solomon Grundy

A super strong zombie, Solomon Grundy has been a thorn in the side of many different DC superheroes, from Batman to Green Arrow, and has battled teams like the JLA, the JSA, and the Teen Titans. While not very bright, Solomon Grundy is a fierce combatant and makes up for his lack of brains with his brute strength.

Grundy is strong, but Juggernaut is stronger. Grundy would try to punch it out with Juggernaut and that would be a huge mistake. He wouldn't be able to stand up to Juggernaut's stupendous strength.

8 Would Lose To: Eclipso

Eclipso sits on his throne

Eclipso was once the Angel of Vengeance but when he went down the path of evil, he was replaced and imprisoned in a black diamond called the Heart of Darkness. Over the years, he's been able to escape his confinement and wreak havoc on the world, with the superheroes of DC Universe barely able to stop him.

Eclipso outclasses Juggernaut. Sure, Juggernaut is strong, but Eclipso is not only strong and invulnerable, but can project blasts of energy, has vast telepathic might, can manipulate matter, and do all kinds of other things. There's just too much Eclipso could do to Juggernaut that he would have no answer for.

7 Would Defeat: Lex Luthor

DC Comics' Lex Luthor's laughining maniacally in his warsuit

Lex Luthor is one of the smartest men on the planet and he turns all of his vast intellect to destroying Superman. Luthor has created all kinds of tricks and traps over the years in his quest to prove to the world that he is greater than Superman. Beyond his prodigious smarts, Lex is able to wrangle the various supervillains of the DCU into working together, which is no easy task.

Too many of Lex's anti-Superman plans involve the Man Of Steel's weaknesses. Juggernaut has no such weaknesses to exploit. While Lex's armor allows him to go one on one with Superman, it still wouldn't be enough to save him from Juggernaut.

6 Would Lose To: Johnny Sorrow

The King of Tears and Johnny Sorrow JSA

A servant of the Lovecraftian horror the King Of Tears, Johnny Sorrow has been fighting the Justice Society for years. Able to turn intangible, teleport, manipulate energy, and cause the death of anyone who looks at his unmasked face, Sorrow is a powerful opponent.

Sorrow would be able to phase through any of Juggernaut's attacks, rendering Juggernaut's physical superiority nil. Sorrow's own energy manipulating abilities wouldn't hurt Juggernaut, but Sorrow would play his trump card and remove his mask, killing the Juggernaut.

5 Would Defeat: Rogol Zaar

Rogol Zaar fighting

Rogol Zaar was a mercenary who was commanded to destroy Krypton... and he succeeded. Years later, he would start a war with Superman, going head to head with the Man Of Tomorrow and besting him on several occasions. Zaar would liberate the criminals of the Phantom Zone in another attempt to destroy Superman, but would fall to the combined might of Superman, General Zod, and Supergirl. An intimidating foe, Rogol Zaar takes no prisoners.

While Zaar is able to punch it out with Kryptonians like it's nobody's business, Juggernaut would be able to withstand his physical might and give it back to him. These two would slug it out for hours, but in the end, Juggernaut would be the last one standing.

4 Would Lose To: Upside-Down Man

A relatively new villain, Upside-Down Man is one of the Otherkind, a being of tremendous magical power. His mission is simple- to bring his kind from the Other Place and eat up all the magic in the universe. A being of tremendous dark magical ability, none have been able to stand against him.

This another opponent that Juggernaut really couldn't do much too. Upside-Down Man isn't going to fight the way Juggernaut is used to, instead using his vast magic to battle the unstoppable one. Seeing as how Juggernaut's powers are magical in nature, Upside-Down Man would be able to play merry hell with them.

3 Would Defeat: The Batman Who Laughs

The Batman Who Laughs has made a big splash since his debut. The Batman of another universe, this one killed the Joker and was infected by one of the Clown Prince of Crime's toxin that drove him crazy. Joining with the dark god Barbatos, the Batman Who Laughs would tear a bloody swath through the multiverse before setting his sights on the Prime Earth.

RELATED: The 10 Scariest Things About The Batman Who Laughs

Much like the regular Batman, the Batman Who Laughs is known for his abilities to make plans that allow him to defeat much more powerful foes. Well, that wouldn't work with Juggernaut. He'd try, of course, but Juggernaut would bust through everything the Batman Who Laughs put in his way... then bust through him.

2 Would Lose To: Darkseid

Darkseid is the lord of Apokolips and the God of Evil. With armies at his command, he rarely has to actually face any but the most powerful opponents, but with his titanic strength and power, there are few who can withstand him. Add to that the power of the Omega Effect and Darkseid is one of the, if not the, most powerful villains in any universe.

Darkseid would send his legions after Juggernaut and they would fall before him. Eventually Darkseid himself would go after Juggernaut and that would be that. Juggernaut is strong, but Darkseid is stronger and if it came down to it, there's always the Omega Effect.

1 Would Defeat: General Zod

Once a general in the Kryptonian army, Zod tried to overthrow the ruling council of Krypton and was imprisoned in the Phantom Zone. He would eventually escape and battle Superman, trying to remake the Earth into New Krypton. With all the powers of Superman, Zod is a powerful opponent.

Zod shares all of Superman's powers, but also all of Superman's weaknesses, including his weakness to magic. Juggernaut's power comes from magic, meaning that Zod's invulnerability wouldn't protect him from Juggernaut's crushing blows. In the end, Zod would fall to the unstoppable might of the Juggernaut.
