Joss Whedon: "'Batman v Superman' Makes Perfect Sense to Me"

The (friendly) rivalry between Marvel and DC is the stuff of legend, but "Avengers: Age of Ultron" director Joss Whedon couldn't be more excited about Warner Bros.' upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" film.

"I found [the trailer for 'Batman v Superman'] interesting," he shared in an interview with Yahoo Movies, "because they're bringing up a lot of issues that we bring up in 'Age of Ultron' and I think it's inevitable."

"And besides, Batman and Superman are gonna fight! I'm so excited! I'm so excited!" he added.

Check out the video below for more from Whedon and actors Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens on May 1 and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled for release on March 25, 2016.
