Thanos is the biggest villain in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, and yet that hasn't stopped some people from comparing the Mad Titan to the President of the United States. Such is the case for Stephen Colbert, who asked Thanos himself, actor Josh Brolin, to read some of Donald Trump's tweets in the voice of the villain he brought to life in Avengers: Infinity War.
Appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his latest film Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Brolin whipped out his nefarious glasses to read a selection of Trump's tweets in the deep and ominous voice of the Avengers villain.
"It would seem very hard to obstruct justice for a crime that never happened," Brolin first read, before adding one of Trump's more infamous expressions, "WITCH HUNT!" Then, he continued with a second tweet that, as Colbert remarked, sounds very much like something Thanos would say: "President of the United States on my first try. I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius. And a very stable genius at that."
Finally, the last of Trump's tweets that Brolin/Thanos reads is very brief. "MAGA!" which is of course short for Trump's slogan, Make America Great Again.
