Jordan Peele's Us Teaser Reveals New, Terrifying Footage

If the early trailers are any indication, Jordan Peele's next movie, Us, will terrify audiences even more than his brilliant Get Out did.

The scares came hard and fast in the brand new teaser that just hit the movie's official Twitter page. More importantly, the new Us teaser trailer also delivered a little more information about the story.

The early Us trailers depicted the film's family confronted by their evil, deranged doppelgangers, fighting for their lives, but it didn't go much deeper than that. However, as this new teaser shows, the family actually go on the run and the doppelgangers follow, always one step behind.

There is dialogue here as well, with the mother, Adelaide (Lupita Nyong'o), saying that they need to move and keep moving because the doppelgangers look like them, think like them and have been planning their attack for some time. She finishes by saying they have to kill them or be killed.

There was even a moment when the Adelaide doppelganger moans out the warning "run." The new teaser also contains some gruesome shots, including Gabe's (Winston Duke) doppelganger hitting him with a fist holding scissors and Adelaide going nuts with some scissors of her own.

The film is shaping up to be a different beast than Get Out, although many of the same sound and musical cues Peele used in the promotions for his previous film are here as well. While the trailers so far show the terror on display, there is still little known about the actual plot itself outside of a family fighting for their survival against devious doubles.
