After securing a film festival premiere, Jordan Peele's upcoming horror film, Us, has moved back its wide theatrical release date.

Following news earlier this week that Us will premiere at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, on March 8, the wide release has been pushed back to March 22. This delays the release by a full week from its original March 15 release date to reportedly help it build more positive buzz and word-of-mouth following its SXSW premiere.

Peele's follow-up to his acclaimed Get Out, the upcoming horror film follows a young family face a home invasion from nightmarish versions of themselves while on a beach vacation.

In addition to the new horror movie, Peele has also been developing a revival of the popular anthology series The Twilight Zone for CBS All Access. In addition to executive producing the upcoming series, Peele will be hosting each episode, replacing original host and creator Rod Serling.
