With its first issue out, the long-awaited DC Black Label miniseries Batman: Three Jokers, by Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok, is already a tremendous success with critics and fans alike as the Bat Family confronts three different incarnations of the Clown Prince of Crime.

DC Comics has released an unlettered preview of next month's second issue, as one of the Jokers begins making murderous house calls in the sleep Gotham City suburbs. As the body count steadily rises, Batman and Batgirl are seen investigating a grisly crime scene while Red Hood takes much more hands-on approach as he continues his hunt for the villains. The covers and preview pages drawn by Fabok and colored by Brad Anderson are below.

Before the first issue was even released, DC Publisher Jim Lee revealed that the issue had already sold over 300,000 copies. Since the three-issue miniseries' launch, the debut has been widely praised for its dark themes and personal approach to Batman's never-ending feud against his arch-nemesis.
