Little is known about DC's Punchline, who's being billed as The Joker’s new sidekick. However, her co-creator Jorge Jiménez has revealed a new look at the character ahead of the upcoming "Joker War" story arc in the pages of the various Batman titles."#Punchline RULES!" Jiménez tweeted, along with new black-and-white artwork of the character. Before signing off, he made sure to tag #JokerWar and #Batman.

Punchline made a cameo appearance in Batman #89 before making her first full appearance in Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #3.

Ever since The Joker resurfaced at the start of writer James Tynion IV's Batman run, the Clown Prince of Crime has been plotting a massive scheme that may or may not involve Batman's secret identity as Bruce Wayne. It's all set to come to a head in the upcoming "Joker War" storyline.

The six-part "The Joker War" arc is written by James Tynion IV with art by Jorge Jiminez and is set to kick off in Batman #95. However, with Diamond Comic Distributors currently shut down due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it's unclear when part one will go on sale.
