The epic "Joker War" storyline is about to hit all of DC's Batman titles this summer, including next month's Detective Comics #1023 by Peter J. Tomasi, Brad Walker, Andrew Hennessy and Brad Anderson, and CBR has an exclusive first look at that bombastic tie-in issue.

In the preview below, the Joker is seen navigating the dark catacombs underneath Gotham City, stopping at the group of stone tombs for the Court of Owls. Uncovering the grave of Lincoln March, the Clown Prince of Crime revives the villain with a heavy dose of his signature Joker toxin -- likely the new version of toxin DC teased with the release of Batman #99's cover art.

Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo had introduced Lincoln at the start of their Batman run as the alleged, long-lost brother of Bruce Wayne, Thomas Wayne, Jr. Claimed to have been abandoned after a car accident caused him to be born prematurely, Lincoln was adopted by the Court of Owls and trained to become a Talon, one of their lethal operatives. At the start of DC Rebirth, Lincoln was killed by the villainous Raptor under orders from the Court but the Talon serum throughout his body left the possibility of resurrection open.
