Joker Puts A Smile On His Face With New "Suicide Squad" Photo

The latest photo of Jared Leto's Joker from Warner Bros.' upcoming "Suicide Squad" is sure to put a smile on your face -- or strike fear in your heart.

Empire has debuted two new "Suicide Squad" covers for the newsstand edition of the magazine, one featuring the full cast, and the other Leto's Clown Prince of Crime.

Decked out all in silver (right down to his rings and bracelet), the Joker gives us a winning yet still somehow threatening smile. Of course that smile comes courtesy of one the many tattoos the Clown Prince of Crime sports (this one being on the outside of his hand). But, you have to admit, it's still a winning smile, nonetheless.

In a recent interview with Yahoo, director David Ayers talked at length about all of Joker's tattoos: "The tattoos tell a very specific story. And eventually people will decipher them and understand what's going on, but obviously they're contentious, any time you do something new it's contentious. There's very specific stories and Easter eggs in those tattoos...this Joker is a little more working class, who I believe could live in our world."

"Suicide Squad," starring Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Cara Delevinge, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman and Viola Davis hit theaters August 5.
