Forget the "Clown Prince of Crime" moniker -- one daredevil cosplaying as Joaquin Phoenix's version of the Joker has effectively made his name as the Clown Prince of Skateboarding. In a video posted by Twitter user @Nick_Fuellerrrr, the skateboarder can be seen sporting the suit, makeup and green hair that Phoenix donned for his portrayal of the classic DC Comics villain in his recently-released R-rated solo film. The skater rides towards a kicker ramp at high speed before flying over a parked car, rotating 180 degrees in the air before sticking the landing on the other side and riding off towards the horizon. After landing the trick, the "Joker" was met with a thunderous ovation from the large group of onlookers, who proceeded to loudly cheer and hit the dilapidated vehicle with their own skateboards in celebration.RELATED: Joker Edges Out Maleficent To Reclaim Top Spot at the Box Office

The video has picked up massive traction on Twitter. At the time of writing, it has accumulated over 7 million views; 100,000 retweets; as well as close to half a million likes.

Some people in the replies note that the scene looks like something taken from a Tony Hawk video game, given that the popular series of skateboarding titles was well-known not only for its over-the-top stunts, but also the inclusion of playable guest stars (such as Marvel's Spider-Man in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.) One commenter even went the extra mile by sharing an edited version of the video, which adds video game sound effects and the song "Superman" by Goldfinger, which has become synonymous with the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game.

With that in mind, you have to wonder what it would have looked like if -- rather than simply dancing down the now-infamous concrete stairs in his film's final act -- Joaquin Phoenix's Joker had grinded down their rail to the tune of Millencolin's "No Cigar" or Powerman 5000's "When Worlds Collide."
