With Todd Phillips' Joker releasing in theaters soon, DC fans are eager to display their own created work inspired by the psychological thriller. One fan in particular definitely put the work in, creating their own claymation poster for the highly-anticipated film.

Posted to the r/comicbook subreddit by Reddit user TrentShyClaymations, this fanmade motion poster features a five-second loop of Joker's main character, Arthur Fleck (played by Joaquin Phoenix.) The downtrodden comedian is seen transforming into the notorious Clown Prince of Crime  with one quick sleight of hand. This imagery is aptly accompanied by the film's tagline, "Put on a happy face."

While the film itself is live action, other Reddit users have praised this poster in the post's comments, remarking that the claymation seems to perfectly fit the style of the film. Some have even joked that the clip features fellow DC villain Clayface posing as the Joker due to the specific medium used.

Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais and Shea Whigham. The film arrives in theaters Oct. 4.
