The Dark Knight and his feline fatale will have more than the Phantasm to contend with in the Batman/Catwoman limited series. Artist Clay Mann posted a new image to his Twitter, hinting that the Joker will play a role in the story. The image depicts the Clown Prince of Crime reclining in a chair and turning on a lamp while holding an old fashioned machine gun. The whole picture gives off a warped image of a noir film, especially since it's in black and white."Just wait until I can go outside and play," Clay wrote in the Tweet.RELATED: Tom King Shares Clay Mann’s Hot & Steamy Batman/Catwoman Art

The 12 issue Batman/Catwoman miniseries reunites Mann with writer Tom King and features Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle dealing with the ups and downs of their relationship, including a potential pregnancy as well as the emergence of the Phantasm. The story will serve as a continuation of King's story from his Batman run. Originally slated to debut this January, the release date was suspended indefinitely to allow Mann to complete his artwork. Mann and King have teamed up on other projects in the past, including Heroes In Crisis and a short story for Action Comics #1000.
