Nothing's ever simple in the world of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, especially the act of determining which Stands are the strongest and weakest of their class. Are the most powerful Stands merely the ones that can hit the hardest? Or are they the Stands that can bend time and space under specific conditions? Stand Stats lists attempt to sort these formidable phantasms into categories, but they don't consider the ingenuity of a Stand's user.

Today, we're going to rank ten of Stardust Crusaders most powerful stands. We're going to consider each of these Stands' abilities, as well as how effectively they were used. After all, a Stand - like a weapon - is only as dangerous and versatile as the person wielding it.

10 Horus

This cold-hearted Stand belongs to an evil falcon named Pet Shop. Possessing above-average intelligence and impeccable fashion sense, Pet Shop served as the sole animal member of DIO's 9 Glory Gods. The first time we see this bird of prey in action, he kills two dogs and a beggar with Horus' ice abilities! Later on, Iggy has to sacrifice one of his paws to barely scrub out a win against Pet Shop and Horus.

Alone, Horus' ice powers are formidable but manageable. Simply put, this weird frosty pterodactyl-looking thing is no Iceman. However, Pet Shop's keen predatory instincts and flying capabilities make Horus much more deadly. In most cases, Horus' victims are unable to even get within range of this icy entity. Iggy only managed to beat this demon by leading it into a claustrophobia-inducing sewer.

9 The Fool

Good Lord, this Stand gives us goosebumps! The Fool looks more like a low-grade Horror movie monster than a genuine threat. However, appearances can be deceiving, especially in JJBA. This Stand belongs to Iggy, the aforementioned superpowered dog. When Iggy fought Pet Shop, he manifested this Stand out of the nearby sand, dust, and debris.

As creepy as The Fool looks, it's a genuinely versatile Stand with a surprising number of tricks up its treads. For one, The Fool isn't bound to a single body; if its current form gets destroyed, Iggy can reform it almost instantly! When most Stands get damaged, their users suffer as well. But since The Fool is made of tiny grains of sediment, Iggy doesn't feel a thing! But what made The Fool one of the most powerful Stands in Stardust Crusaders was Iggy's ingenuity; the dog reshaped The Fool into replicas of other people and objects to suit his needs, even duplicating DIO at one point.

8 Magician's Red

In our opinion, Magician's Red seems like he missed a casting call for a Final Fantasy game. His mythical design, flamboyant poses, and immense firepower remind us of a boss from one of the early FF games! All jokes aside, Magician's Red was one of the most powerful Stands in Part 3, namely because of his Stand user.

From the day he was born, the fortune-teller Muhammad Avdol possessed his Stand. Avdol spent years training with Magician's Red, honing its pyrokinetic abilities and raw physical strength. Together, Avdol and Red took down many of the villains our heroes encountered in Stardust Crusaders. Avdol and Red were so tough, it took a stray bullet from Hol Horse and full-on attack from Cream to take them down!

7 The Sun

When people say that the sun's beating down on them, they typically don't mean it in a literal sense. This Stand must have missed the memo, however, as it rains fire on its foes with the accuracy of a precision airstrike! The only thing holding The Sun back from being OP is the laziness of its user, Arabia Fats.

On its own, The Sun was virtually indestructible; it hovered high in the sky, out of the range of most of its victims and was, you know, a freaking miniature sun! The Crusaders thankfully realized that Fats had to hide nearby to use The Sun, and knocked him out with a rock. Had they failed to solve that puzzle, they likely would've lost their lives to this celestial horror!

6 Death Thirteen

Brace yourselves readers, as we're venturing into the realm of the truly bizarre Stands. Up until this point, most of the Stands we've featured today attack their victims physically. Death Thirteen, on the other hand, prefers taking the road less traveled. Thirteen is the master of a nightmarish dreamscape and revels in ensnaring victims like flies in a spider's web.

Death Thirteen is essentially Freddie Kruger, but with a chilling clownish appearance and a supersized scythe! There are two saving graces that keep D13 from being too overpowered. For one, its owner is a baby - albeit he's an evil child that smokes cigarettes. D13 also can only affect victims who are asleep, rendering it powerless in the waking world.

5 Osiris

Osiris belongs to Daniel J. D'Arby - a compulsive gambler. D'arby is so addicted to the table that he'll eagerly bet his very soul for the sake a wager! But Dan's no fool - he'd never lay down his life for a bet that he knew he couldn't win. That's where Osiris comes in; Dan tricks people into betting their souls against him, rigs the outcomes, and then steals their very life essences with his Stand!

We don't consider Osiris to be one of the most powerful Stands in the series because of its stats - Osiris actually D's, C's, and E's in most categories. No, we think that Osiris is OP because once you lose a bet against D'Arby, your fate is sealed. Osiris nearly managed to beat all the Stardust Crusaders, save for Jotaro.

4 Justice

Because of her advanced age, Enya the Hag can't fight or move around as well as her enemies. To compensate, Enya commands a godlike Stand that can manipulate people like puppets! Justice is intangible, impermeable, and indestructible! Often taking the form of a gigantic fog cloud, Justice can't be beaten through conventional means.

However, Justice's unique ability makes him one of the most powerful Stands in Part 3; he can possess anyone by invading their bodies through open wounds! Enya and Justice waylayed Hol Horse and most of the Crusaders, including Jotaro and Polnareff! Star Platinum had to absorb Justice with his immense lung power - a feat that could've killed him!

3 Cream

Cream in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Cream's ability to erase matter is terrifying in and of itself. But pair this nightmarish Stand with a high-ranking Vampire, and you've got one of the strongest foes to face the Stardust Crusaders! Polnareff and Iggy had the misfortune of facing this destructive duo near the end of Part 3.

Silver Chariot's speed and The Fool's adaptability were no match for Cream's dimension slicing powers. Iggy tragically died during this fight, while Polnareff barely survived and became crippled. Cream's only real weaknesses are its short-range attacks and blindness when in its void form. This leaves Vanilla Ice vulnerable to counter-offensives when surveys the battlefield.

2 Star Platinum

Jotaro and Star Platinum in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

In a lot of ways, Star Platinum is like Superman; he's insanely fast, hits impossibly hard, and whips out new abilities on the fly! Though Platinum is a short-range Stand, he's evolved mid-battle to defeat foes with greater range and abilities than himself.

But what makes us consider Star Platinum as one of the most powerful Stands in Part 3 is his user - Jotaro Kujo! Jotaro is a strong, smart, and capable young man who can think on his toes and keep calm under pressure. Jotaro and Star Platinum even managed to copy the most overpowered ability in Stardust Crusaders through sheer force of will! That being said, there's only one Stand that outclasses Star Platinum.

1 The World

This freaking thing can stop time and punch people hard enough to blow them up. What else do we need to say?! DIO is one of vilest, most beloved villains in the entire JJBA franchise. It only makes sense that the vampire who killed Jonathan Joestar would also have an OP Stand.

The World ( perhaps best known as "ZA WARUDO") is the most powerful Stand in Part 3 by a mile. He's like Star Platinum, but faster, stronger, and better at stopping time! Numerous fans think that The World actually would've been Jonathan's Stand, had DIO not killed him and took over his body. Either way, this remorseless killing machine needed to be stopped. Thankfully, Jotaro pulled a Hail Mary to save the day.
