There are nearly 200 unique Stands spanning Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, each more unique than the last. There are Stands that can control sand and Stands that can stop time, but what makes Jojo's Stands so interesting is that their powers are situational so you can't really compare Stands as being stronger or weaker than another.

Everyone who's a fan of the series has their favorite Stands and discussions about which ones and why can get pretty heated. But through all of that, there are a lot of Stands that don't get the attention they deserve. Let's take a look at the Stands that are the most underrated.

10 Ratt

Bug-Eaten's Ratt Stand Jojo Diamond is Unbreakable

Let's start this list off with a Stand that has a rather disgusting ability: Ratt. Ratt is a Stand belonging to two, you guessed it, rats but don't let their small stature fool you, their Stand is incredibly dangerous. Ratt is essentially a long-range cannon but what makes it so dangerous is the fact that it shoots corrosive darts that melt whatever it touches.

Ratt is a good example of why you shouldn't compare Stand soley on strength. Jotaro has one of the strongest Stands in the series, which he used to defeat a vampire with a similarly strong Stand with the ability to stop time, but he was nearly defeated by a tiny little rat.

9 20th Century Boy

This next entry will be familiar to fans who have read the manga. 20th Century Boy is a Stand that appears in Steel Ball Run and belongs to Magenta Magenta, one of President Funny Valentine's henchmen. While 20th Century Boy doesn't have any offensive capabilities, it's not a Stand to be passed over.

20th Century Boy's ability is to render Magenta Magenta completely impervious to damage. The only downside to this Stand is that Magenta Magenta must be immobile for the ability to work but there is no way to get past its defense, whether it's explosions or Stand attacks.

8 Love Deluxe

Yukako Yamigishi's Love Deluxe in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure; Yukako's hair is floating in a mass and her eyes are bugged, her mouth agape.

Most Stands take the form of strange, humanoid spirit-like things but every so often, Stands take on a more unique appearance. Love Deluxe is Yukako's Stand and to put it simply, her Stand is her hair.

Love Deluxe allows Yukako to manipulate her hair at will, allowing her to grow her hair to various lengths and controlling it with considerable strength and range. It's basically tentacle powers, which are always absurdly powerful, but Love Deluxe is a Stand that people too often pass over.

7 Jail House Lock

The Stands in Stone Ocean were really hit or miss for a lot of fans but that only means there are a fair number of Stands from the part that have gone underrated and deserve a second look. One such Stand is Jail House Lock, which doesn't have much physical strength but makes up for it with its ability.

Jail House Lock cripples its enemies by giving them short-term memory loss, making it so victims can only remember three new pieces of information at a time. It may not be the most dazzling ability but it's surprisingly devastating and not a Stand to be ignored.

6 Spice Girl

When Spice Girl was first introduced, fans were excited to see Trish's Stand in action. Spice Girl thoroughly put the beatdown on Notorious B.I.G in her first appearance but after that,  we really didn't see anymore of Spice Girl. This Stand is so underrated just because of how underutilized she was.

Not only is Spice Girl a physically powerful Stand but she also has the ability to soften any material she strikes, giving it a rubber-like consistency. If Spice Girl had been involved in more fights she definitely wouldn't be flying under the radar.

5 Kiss

Another Stand that went underutilized, probably because it's ridiculously powerful, is Kiss from Stone Ocean. If the Stand's high strength and speed weren't enough, Kiss also has an amazing ability, the ability to duplicate any object.

Kiis can produce distinct lips-motif stickers that can perfectly duplicate whatever the sticker is placed on. While that ability is useful enough on its own, it starts to get real interesting when the sticker is removed. When the sticker is removed or destroyed, both the original and the copy spring toward each other to fuse back into one object, but it does so with such force that it damages the object.

4 Black Sabbath

True to its namesake, Black Sabbath is an absolutely terrifying Stand. But for whatever reason, it's a Stand that is often forgotten about. We think it has something to do with its user, Polpo, not really being the picture of a great Stand user but whatever the reason, Black Sabbath definitely deserves more attention.

Black Sabbath is one of the most powerful automatic Stands. It moves with tremendous speed and can pull a person's soul right out of their body, but the only drawback is that it can only move within shadows. It might seem like an awful drawback to have until you realize that literally everything has a shadow the Stand can use.

3 Catch The Rainbow

The farther into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure you get, the more bizarre Stands get. Stand abilities become more and more unique and the requirements to activate these Stands become so oddly specific that it's any wonder how Stands can be used at all. The peak of this kind of Stand is probably Catch the Rainbow.

Catch the Rainbow can only be used when it's raining but it allows its user Blackmore to be able to manipulate the rain. Most notably, Catch the Rainbow can stop raindrops and make them float in mid-air, as well as making the raindrops solid enough to block projectiles and allow Blackmore to walk on the rain. Plus, if anyone but Blackmore tries to move one of the suspended raindrops, it will tear into them and could kill them.

2 White Album

White Album racing in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

White Album was the first Stand in the series to take the form of a wearable suit that protects its user Ghiaccio. Despite having arguably one of the strongest abilities in the series, White Album is often forgotten about in discussions about strongest Stands.

White Album's ability is to freeze anything Ghiaccio touches by dramatically lowering the target's temperature. White Album is able to drop temperatures to -210° C or lower, being able to even freeze the air around Ghiaccio. It's crazy powerful and can stop almost any attack.

1 Kraft Work

Finally, there's Kraft Work, a Stand whose ability is insanely powerful but it rarely gets talked about. In any other shounen anime this Stand's ability would belong to the protagonist but in Jojo's, it belongs to a minor villain.

Kraft Work has the ability to manipulate kinetic energy. It can either take an object's kinetic energy completely away, freezing it in place, or it can build up and store kinetic energy in an object to give it immense power. It's an overpowered ability but Kraft Work is a severely underrated Stand.
