Vanilla Ice, a recurring threat who plagues the heroes throughout Stardust Crusaders, is ultimately just a lackey of DIO, yet he still makes his mark as a villain. Vanilla Ice’s vampiric Stand, Cream, is a major step up from the previous obstacles that the heroes face.

Steel Ball Run is full of threats, but none are as dangerous as Valentine. Initially, Funny Valentine just seems like a corrupt organizer who suffers from megalomania, but the series eventually shows how far he’s willing to go to secure the heavenly Saint’s Corpse. His treatment of Lucy Steel is abhorrent, and his dimension-hopping Stand can overwhelm even the strongest Stand users.
4 Yoshikage Kira Successfully Keeps Morioh On A Tight Leash As A Serial Killer
DIO’s villainous presence looms over the first three sagas of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, so it’s a huge breath of fresh air when Yoshikage Kira terrorizes Josuke Higashikata and his Stand user friends in Diamond is Unbreakable. Kira is a highly complex and meticulous villain. He spends years masquerading in anonymity in Morioh while he operates as a serial killer who has a rabid obsession with hands.
Kira is finally defeated by the tag-team effort of Josuke and Jotaro before he’s turned into one of the spectral prisoners of Ghost Girl’s Alley. Before his defeat, Kira gets everything that he wants and even switches his appearance and co-opts a family to accomplish his goal.
3 Diavolo And King Crimson Are In Charge Of Italy’s Criminal Underworld
Each chapter in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure carefully creates suspense over the identity of its major villain, but Golden Wind turns the mysterious nature of The Boss into an ongoing puzzle that needs to be solved. Part of the time, it’s the meeker personality, Doppio, who has control over Diavolo's body.
Diavolo’s Stand, King Crimson, can erase time and leave its targets completely confused over what’s happened to them. Diavolo uses King Crimson to take out some of Team Bucciarati’s most valuable members, and he’s used his powers to intensify Italy’s criminal underworld until Giorno’s intervention.
2 DIO Steals Jonathan’s Body, Achieves New Strength, And Sires A Committed Crew Of Followers
The inciting incident of this generational adventure is simply a modest rivalry that stems from Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando, an orphan who is taken into the Joestar family. Dio systematically ruins Jonathan’s life and successfully steals his body to prolong his own existence.
Dio Brando evolves into the vampiric DIO, who rules over Egypt and is responsible for countless executions. DIO even manages to inspire more evil after his defeat in Stardust Crusaders. Stone Ocean features DIO’s illegitimate children as obstacles for Jolyne, and even Enrico Pucci is completely driven by DIO’s own deluded curiosities.
1 Enrico Pucci Fulfills DIO’s Legacy, Reaches Heaven, And Resets The JoJo's Timeline
Stone Ocean is a real turning point in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and all of the pain that Jolyne Cujoh experiences in Green Dolphin Street Prison is the result of Enrico Pucci’s elaborate plan. Jotaro Kujo is crucial to Pucci’s mission, and he’s able to lure him to the prison, steal his Stand and Memory Discs, and is ultimately responsible for taking the acclaimed Stand user’s life.
Enrico Pucci strives to accomplish what DIO couldn’t and “attain heaven” in the process. Pucci is technically successful in his pursuit, and Made in Heaven’s extreme powers push time to reach its natural endpoint and cause a new timeline to get born out of this oblivion.
