Hirohiko Araki's hit series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a staple of the anime/manga world, being a long-running shonen series that recently took on a seinen edge. This eccentric fighting series features the Joestar family, and their battles against villains like Dio Brando, the Pillar Men, Yoshikage, and even Italian crime families. One such hero is Josuke Higashikata.

Josuke is the hero of the fourth major story arc, Diamond is Unbreakable, and he contrasts sharply with the stoic Jotaro Kujo of Stardust Crusaders. Living in small-town Morioh, Josuke has a punkish streak and takes good care of his fancy hair, and he even has a stand, Crazy Diamond. Lots of cosplayers like to re-enact the popular characters of this series, and today, it's time to meet some talented Josuke cosplayers.

10 Brush It Carefully

The gallery of Josuke cosplays begins with a classic image: a standoffish punk Josuke who is just daring you to come closer and try to mess with him or his perfect hair. His attitude really conflicts with the heart and peace sign on his school uniform.

This cosplayer made sure to make the colors on that uniform pop, and he got his hands on a hair comb for added effect, and completed he cosplay with a defiant glare. No one but Jotaro would approach someone who looked like that.

9 Crafty Plans

Just what is Josuke thinking about hin this shot? Knowing him, it could be anything, and he has a tendency to wander off and get himself into trouble sometimes. He even tried to cheat at dice with Rohan to steal his money!

Meanwhile, this cosplayer truly brings Josuke's punk side to life with that crafty look, cool black leather jacket, and striking facial markings to imitate the manga more closely. In fact,  Josuke looks a bit like Jotaro in this shot, with that pitch-black outfit.

8 Frenemies

Like Jotaro (and later, Giorno), Josuke hangs out with a regular group of pals, but he gets along with some of them better than others. Koichi and Okuyasu always have his back, but the manga artist Rohan Kishibe is a different case.

These two cosplayers did a terrific job bringing Josuke and Rohan to life, including some truly stunning eye contacts and neatly tended wigs to make both characters look photogenic for the camera. Just what are they up to this time?

7 What's Up?

Finally, Josuke is in a good mood, and that shiny, sparkly background is just like something from the JoJo anime. Many anime shows are known for their colorful backgrounds, and this is no exception. It looks great.

For this shot, the cosplayer brings us a gender-bender Josuke, a bit of a tomboy who has striking red eye shadow and markings that emulate the manga's distinct visual style. She wants to say hi... but don't criticize the hair!

6 Wallet Duel

Now this is an amusing scene. In cosplay photography, the subject can strike a pose, all right, but they can also re-enact a scene from the source material. That's the route that this cosplayer took, and it's looking good.

Josuke finally met his elderly father, Joseph Joestar, but they had a disagreement over money! Joseph bought way too many baby supplies with Josuke's cash, and now, father and son are fighting over the wallet, stand vs stand. Who will win?

5 Off-The-Charts Swag

Are you too cool for school? Are you in the "it" crowd with the cool cats? There's all kinds of ways to put it, but suffice it to say, Josuke and Okuyasu have both declared them the most hip guys in all of Morioh.

The cosplayers look like they're posing for an album cover, with their funny postures and their incredible swag. Okuyasu has dollar-sign glasses to match his uniform, and Josuke is looking stylish with purple plastic-framed heart classes to match his own uniform.

4 Loaded Dice

Rohan returns for another guest appearance in all the Josuke cosplay shots, and this time, the cosplayers are re-enacting a scene that clearly shows why they don't get along. They're playing a very crooked dice game!

Josuke asked his supposedly alien friend to morph into dice and control the outcomes, and Rohan is starting to catch on to Josuke's behavior. The cosplayers opted for a cinematic angle for this shot, right over Rohan's shoulder to put emphasis on Josuke, and the effect is remarkable.

3 JoJo Heroes

This eighth cosplay shot brings in another guest, an important figure in Diamond is Unbreakable: Jotaro Kujo! He's back, and this time, he's in a white outfit to contrast with his earlier, darker colors. He and Josuke make for fine allies.

Both cosplayers opted for a sunny outdoor shot, and Jotaro stands tall while Josuke strikes a tough "come at me" pose while in high-heeled shoes. No stand user would dare take on this hard-hitting duo.

2 Ms. Josuke Higashikata

Gender-bender cosplays are a fun and unique opportunity to recast a character in a whole new light, and the same is true for fan art. Most of the heroes in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure are gentlemen, so it can provide some visual relief to reimagine some of them as girls.

In this case, Josuke is no0w a schoolgirl, but no less cool and stylish. She has the standard high school uniform on, and her punkish side shines with her pose and the fact that she's seated on a desk. Bizarre adventures are sure to follow.

1 Three Joestars

Josuke spent some time with Jotaro in the anime, but suppose he also came face to face with other Joestar heroes, like Giorno Giovanna and Jolyne Cujoh? He might get along with them too... or just get on their nerves!

These cosplayers united the 4th, 5th, and 6th heroes of the franchise in one shot, and Josuke and Giorno have a vivid yellow and black color scheme, while Josuke shares some green colors with Jolyne. They're un unstoppable trio!
