JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has some of the most powerful characters in the anime-verse. From time manipulation to healing every possible injury, it is truly blessed with a huge variety of stands. A big problem that people face while talking about stands is whether "A" Stand could beat "B" Stand? In the words of DIO, you can't really say whether a stand is weaker or stronger than the other.

Adding to this problem is the loss of stands that had a lot of growth potential. Fans complain about a potentially good power being nerfed and then written off the story. In this post, we will discuss five stands with the most potential and five with the least potential.

10 Has Potential:  Weather Report

Weather Report is the stand of Weather Report. He is one of the main characters from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. Weather Report has the ability to control the weather to a certain extent. It should be noted that it was his stand that allowed Emporio to defeat Enrico Pucci. Weather Report has a lot of potential and it really feels that it was wasted.

The stand is capable of both attacking and defending.  Weather Report had another ability known as Heavy Weather. This ability creates rainbows and anyone who touches the rainbows transforms into a snail. The easiest way to beat this ability is by killing Weather Report. With Weather's death, we could never see what he could do with his stand.

9 No Potential: Hermit Purple

Hermit Purple belongs to Joseph Joestar. Joseph awakened his stand in JJBA: Stardust Crusaders. This stand was just used as a plot device. Araki's writing wasn't really at its best when we talk about Part 3, and he just gave Joseph Hermit Purple to progress the story further.

Joseph managed to use the stand to its fullest, however, when you compare it to the other stands such as Magician's Red or Silver Chariot or even The Fool, Joseph could not even beat these guys. After his heroics in Battle Tendency, he deserved something better than Hermit Purple.

8 Has Potential: Heaven's Door

Heaven's Door is the stand of Kishibe Rohan. It is a stand from JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable. Heaven's Door might not be the strongest stand in terms of physicality, but it has got much more to offer than most of the stands. Heaven's Door can turn any person it touches into a book, but that's not all.

It can erase the memories of anyone, and it can gain intel by reading their memories. However, the strongest ability of Heaven's Door is that it can write commands on a person, and the person will do those things. For example, Rohan made Josuke fly backward at the speed of 70km/h. So, everything that Rohan writes will be carried out.

7 No Potential: Survivor

Survivor is the weakest stand in the series. According to DIO, it is the weakest stand in existence, and no one can question DIO's claim. Survivor is without a doubt one of the most useless stands in existence.

In JJBA: Stone Ocean, Pucci placed this stand inside Guccio. It is an automatic stand so it acts on its own accord. The stand has the worst accuracy in the entire history of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The user can't control it and it can't specifically target the opponent; Survivor just causes mayhem and makes people fight each other till death.

6 Has Potential: The World

The World is one of the most powerful stands in JoJo history. It is the stand of DIO. The World made its debut in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. The World has great stats overall and its physical strength is more or less the same as Star Platinum.

The World had the potential to go on and become the strongest stand, but DIO's defeat didn't let it happen. According to DIO, if he had defeated all the Joestars, he would have surpassed his limits. During his fight with Jotaro, DIO was able to stop time for a maximum of nine seconds. However, if DIO was the victor in their fight, he could have stopped time for even longer.

5 No Potential: Highway To Hell

Ermes Costello caught in Highway to Hell trap by Stand User Thunder McQueen

The user of Highway to Hell is Thunder McQueen. Highway to Hell is a stand from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. The stand has no combat ability whatsoever. Basically, the user can't even defend themselves or attack anyone else.

The stand allows the user to share damage to their opponent. It does seem pretty powerful, but it is not that good. If the user wants to kill someone, then they would have to kill themselves in some way to make it happen.

4 Has Potential: Echoes Act III

Koichi's Echoes ACT3 in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable.

Hirose Koichi's Echoes is next on the list. The stand was introduced in JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable. Echoes is a unique stand that has phases or "acts," that improve or degrade certain aspects it. Originally Koichi's Echoes was a long-range with little to no power.

When it evolved into Act III, it had a shorter range, but more destructive power. Echoes Act III has the power to freeze or stop opponents. According to the stats from Part V, Echoes' destructive power has reached "A," and he still has "B" as potential.

3 No Potential: The Empress

The Empress punches Joseph in the face - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders

The Empress is a stand from Stardust Crusaders. The user of this stand is Nena. This stand is based on parasitism. In order for the stand to work, Nena must use her blood and make direct contact with the opponent.

A wart-like growth appears on the affected area and it starts to assimilate the body. Joseph Joestar was caught by this stand, and even with his Hermit Purple, he managed to beat it. Just imagine a stand that doesn't even have the power to beat Hermit Purple. It really tells a lot about the capabilities of the stand.

2 Has Potential: Killer Queen

killer queen jojo

Killer Queen is the stand of Kira Yoshikage. The stand is from Diamond is Unbreakable. It is one of the best stands in the series, and one of my favorite stands. Killer Queen has several abilities. The basic ability of this stand is to turn anything it touches into a bomb, and it has another ability known as "Sheer Heart Attack." Killer Queen releases a small independent stand from its left hand. Sheer Heart Attack goes after body heat and it is almost unbreakable.

Kira Yoshikage had another ability that he received after piercing himself with the stand arrow. The ability is known as "Bites the Dust." It is a miniature version of Killer Queen that is implanted in the target, and it carries out the task without fail. However, using Bites the Dust leaves Kira without any defense and he must call it back in order to fight.

1 No Potential: Notorious B.I.G

Notorious BIG in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

The last stand on our list is Notorious B.I.G. Most of the time, Notorious B.I.G is placed among the strongest stands in the series, however, this time it's different. Notorious B.I.G is actually a bad stand. It is said that the stand will only activate after the user's stand. So, when the user is alive, Notorious B.I.G can't really do anything to help them.

After activation, the stand will not stop until everything and everyone in its path is destroyed, but there are ways to bypass it. Notorious B.I.G is an automatic stand and it lacks accuracy like every other automatic stand. It has very predictable attacks as it always goes after the fastest thing in its vicinity.
