Stand abilities in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure have changed drastically since they were first introduced. Original Stands were often simple and limited abilities, but every part following Stardust Crusaders features Stands that have grown more complex and nuanced. As the complexity of JoJo's fights has increased, Stand users need more than brute force to win battles.

Clever and intelligent Stand users usually win fights, and their Stand's speed is one of the most important advantages they bring to a conflict. In Stone Ocean, heroes and villains alike use high-speed Stands to overwhelm their opponents. Some stands, however, are significantly faster than others.

WARNING: Spoilers Ahead!

10 Anasui's Diver Down stores Energy For Later

Diver Down punches two guards.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's creator, Hirohiko Araki, is infamous for downplaying or ignoring Stand abilities after introducing them. Anasui's Diver Down is no exception. Diver Down has the power to store the energy of its kicks and punches inside an object. When someone touches the physically-charged object, all the stored force strikes at once.

This ability not only provides versatility but effectively allows him to attack an enemy many times in a single instant with enough preparation. Despite Diver Down's combination of versatility and power, Diver Down rarely uses this ability in Stone Ocean.

9 Foo Fighters Moves Like Bullets Underwater

Foo Fighters holds a tire full of disks.

One of the more unique Stands in JoJo's, Foo Fighters is the name of both a colony of plankton given consciousness and the Stand that gave the plankton sentience to begin with. In an instant, Foo Fighters can shoot themselves from a source of water or drag a human underwater. They can also rapidly reproduce, making them almost impossible to kill.

However, this bizarre Stand loses nearly all its power if it loses access to water. Without a ready source of hydration, Foo Fighters is hardly fast at all, so it makes sure to stay well-hydrated.

8 Sports Maxx's Limp Bizkit Summons Zombies With Enhanced Speed

Limp Bizkit revives a dead, invisible bird.

Most Stands in JoJo's vanish once their users die, but Sports Maxx's Limp Bizkit is an exception. Limp Bizkit has the power to resurrect corpses as invisible zombies with enhanced speed and strength. This even applies to the user himself when he dies.

Because the Stand's zombies are invisible, it's difficult to gauge exactly how much more speed they gain compared to their speed while alive. Nevertheless, Limp Bizkit's ability to raise many zombies at once is still a formidable skill.

7 Ermes Costello's Kiss Multiplies Its User's Agility

Kiss is shown with a marker affected by a duplicating sticker.

One of the earliest characters appearing in Stone Ocean, Ermes Costello uses her Stand, Kiss, to support Jolyne Cujoh and pursue her own quest for vengeance against Sports Maxx. Kiss can manifest stickers that create copies of objects they're stuck to.

Ermes uses her Stand strategically, often trapping her opponents between an object and its copy. Most impressively, Ermes can also use Kiss to multiply her own limbs, giving her the ability to double or quadruple her attack speed.

6 Viviano Westwood's Planet Waves calls down meteoroids

Two meteoroids approach Jolyne Cujoh.

Unlike many other Stands with similarly destructive potential, Viviano Westwood's Planet Waves doesn't engage in fights itself. Instead, Planet Waves pulls meteoroids near the Earth down toward its user's location.

These meteoroids have so much speed and force that they can rip through an opponent's body. They're also too fast for even Jolyne Cujoh to predict. Planet Waves' unreliability is a key factor limiting its speed. The user can only call existing meteoroids, and these may arrive minutes apart from one another if none are immediately available.

5 Jolyne Cujoh's Stone Free Deflects Bullets

Stone Free deflects many projectiles.

As the protagonist of Stone Ocean, Jolyne Cujoh's Stone Free balances power, speed, and utility. Stone Free also possesses amazing combat abilities alongside its power to unravel both Jolyne and itself into super-tough, flexible strings.

When the sniper Johngalli A attacks both Jolyne and her father with his Stand-guided handgun, Jolyne deflects his bullets with Stone Free's strings. She does so at close range and as fast as her enemy can pull the trigger. This happens shortly after awakening Stone Free, and the Stand's speed surely increases over the series alongside its destructive power.

4 Enrico Pucci's C Moon Reverses Gravity & Speeds Up Time

C Moon alters gravity to attack Jolyne.

Stone Ocean villain Enrico Pucci evolves his original Stand, White Snake, twice over the course of the story. Its first evolution is C Moon, a Stand that possesses not only enough raw power to match Stone Free in combat but can also affect gravity and time. C Moon can slow down or speed up his enemies to subdue them.

In this form, however, the Stand's time-warping abilities are fairly limited. They provide Pucci with only enough of an edge to outspeed many opponents.

3 Miraschon's Marilyn Manson Judges Hearts At The Speed Of Thought

Marilyn Manson holds cash.

Araki has a penchant for Stands whose powers involve betting or wagers, and Miraschon's Marilyn Manson is an especially unique example. If a person accepts a bet with Miraschon, Marilyn Manson holds them to their word. If the user's enemy loses their bet or attempts to cheat in the game, Marilyn Manson extracts payment from the enemy in money and bodily injury.

The Stand's amazing speed is expressed in its ability to respond to even the thought of harming its user. Marilyn Manson considers this treacherous thought to be a loss, provoking an immediate, inescapable attack.

2 Weather Report harnesses the sun

Weather Report poses.

Weather Report is an amnesiac man who wields a Stand with the same name. Weather Report is one of the most potent Stands in all JoJo's history, having the potential to end the world by warping global weather.

One of Weather Report's abilities, Heavy Weather, strikes at the speed of light. Heavy Weather causes the sun's rays to turn enemies into snails. The snails themselves asexually reproduce at a rate that allows them to overwhelm Weather Report's enemies.

1 Enrico Pucci's Made In Heaven Transcends Time & Space

Pucci Made In Heaven warps time and space.

Made in Heaven, the ultimate form of Enrico Pucci's Stand, possesses a mastery of time that's unmatched by nearly any other JoJo's Stand. Reflecting Einstein's theory of relativity, Made in Heaven alters gravity on a universal level to speed up time and remake the universe.

Not even the time-stopping ability of Jotaro Kujo's Star Platinum can counter Made in Heaven's acceleration. Aside from Made in Heaven's general abilities, it also allows Pucci to move much faster than his enemies and slay them effortlessly.
