A special Jojo's Bizarre Adventure magazine will be released in Japan to celebrate the series' 35th anniversary.

As reported by Comic Natalie, the new release will feature new art from series creator Hirohiko Araki, which includes the magazine's cover, which is decorated with a new illustration of Jolene Cujoh, the protagonist of the Stone Ocean arc, and her father, Jotaro Kujo, the hero of Stardust Crusaders. The magazine will also feature an all-new 71 page chapter of the Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe spinoff manga. The anniversary book will also include a look at the anime series, and a set of collectible stickers. The magazine's editors are promising to announce more bonuses as it nears its publication date. The magazine will be released in Japan on March 19 in both print and digital formats. An English release for the periodical has not been announced at this time.

Fans looking to see more of Jolene and Jotaro can look to Netflix, which is exclusively streaming the anime adaptation of the Stone Ocean arc. Netflix is releasing the series in batches; the first group of twelve episodes premiered on Dec. 1, and was well received by fans and critics alike. The streaming company has yet to announce when the next set of episodes will be available. Jolene also appeared in one of the series' many recent spinoffs, entitled Fujiko no Kimyou na Shoseijutsu: - Whitesnake no Gosan (roughly translated as Fujiko's Bizarre Treatment-Whitesnake's Miscalculation), which was published in Jump Square magazine in Japan on Dec. 18.

The Stand-wielding manga artist Rohan Kishibe has also been attracting more attention lately, as the second season of the live-action adaptation of his spinoff series, Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe, began airing in Japan on Dec. 27. Kishibe is portrayed by actor Issei Takahashi, who anime fans may recognize from his appearances in the live-action adaptations of Ikebukuro West Gate Park and March Comes in Like a Lion. Like the magazine, there are currently no announced plans to bring the live-action series to the west, but the animated adaptation of the Rohan Kishibe's story has been localized and is currently available for streaming on Netflix as well.

Fans of the series are still waiting on a premiere date for Part 9 of the manga series, which is currently tentatively titled Jojolands. The next arc in Hirohiko Araki's decades-long epic was announced immediately after the publication of the final chapter of Part 8, Jojolion. The series was announced to begin after Araki returned from a much-deserved break, but a formal date for the manga's return has yet to be revealed.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure was first published in 1987. The series tells the story of the Joestar family and their cross-generational conflict with the being known as Dio. The series is one of the most popular manga franchises ever, with a circulation of over 100 million copies worldwide.
