Kishibe Rohan is one of the most popular side characters in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Many consider Rohan to be the Araki's manga equivalent because Rohan is also a mangaka. Rohan made his appearance in Diamond is Unbreakable.

Rohan played a crucial role in Part 4 and it was mainly due to his research that Kira Yoshikage was caught. Rohan is one of the characters that have received a separate anime adaptation. The fans clearly adore him, but he's had some moments that annoyed the fans.

10 LOVED: Agreed To Help Reimi

Reimi from Diamond is Unbreakable

Rohan is not known for his niceties, but there are certain times where even he felt like helping people. While investigating a mysterious alleyway, Rohan and Koichi meet a ghost girl named Reimi. After hearing her story, they are moved and they agree to help Reimi. Rohan had already agreed to help Reimi, but his determination was further boosted when he came to know that Reimi had actually died protecting Rohan when he was a kid.

9 HATED: Played Dice With Josuke

While the rest of the group was looking for clues, Josuke Higashikata decided to use Mikitaka to finesse some money out of Rohan. Josuke asked Mikitaka to turn into dice and carried him to Rohan's house. Josuke managed to beat Rohan quite a few times, who was fuming because of the losses. It didn't occur to either of them that a serial killer was on the loose in Morioh and they could actually do something productive rather than playing dice with each other.

8 LOVED: Saved Josuke

Rohan is captured by Highway Star

Rohan and Josuke shared a lot of animosity between them. For them to actually pair up and help each other was considered nigh impossible, however, it did happen. Rohan was trapped by Highway Star and it seemed that Josuke would suffer the same fate, but Rohan used his stand to save Josuke. The stand's ability paved the way for Josuke to escape from Highway Star. Josuke was keen to repay the favor and so he took it upon himself to find and defeat the user of Highway Star.

7 HATED: Stole Koichi's Memories

Rohan steals Koichi's memories

Koichi is one of the main characters in Part 4 and among the fan favourites. His first encounter with Rohan was rather disastrous. He went along with Hazamada to Rohan's house in order to get an autograph from the mangaka, but they were in for a ghastly surprise. The unsuspecting duo was immediately cornered by Rohan and his Heaven's Door. Rohan had no interest in Hazamada, so he let him off easily but Koichi was big trouble. Rohan took his memories and used them to create the next chapters of his manga. Koichi's suffering would have never come to an end if Josuke hadn't followed him to Rohan's house.

6 LOVED: Fight Vs Cheap Trick

Rohan defeats Cheap Trick

Rohan is a proud individual and he doesn't usually ask anyone else for help, but even he had to ask for help when he was under a stand attack. When Cheap Trick attached himself to Rohan's back, he showed his ingenuity. Rohan asked for Koichi's help, who simply brushed aside the claims of a stand attack as a prank. Rohan was forced to take action and he went towards Reimi's alley. Koichi had followed him after seeing that Rohan was continuously trying to hide his back.

This was all Rohan needed, and so without a moment's hesitation, he showed his back to Koichi, which prompted Cheap Trick to look back. Little did Cheap Trick know that looking back in Reimi's alley meant certain death. As the stand was dragged away by the hands of hell, Rohan uses his Heaven's Door to ensure that Cheap Trick is sent to hell.

5 HATED: Didn't Care About His House Or His Hand

Rohan and Josuke from Part 4

It is quite surprising for the fans to see an adult-like, Kishibe Rohan acting so immaturely. Rohan's most senseless decision in Part 4 was to play dice with Josuke. A game of dice would have been okay under normal circumstances, but things weren't normal in Morioh.

There was a killer in the city, who was using his stand to kill people. So, playing dice would be a big no and yet Rohan still played. While playing, he got so serious that he brought Tamami and made him use his stand. Rohan even put a pen through his hand and he also didn't care about his house that had caught fire.

4 LOVED: No. 1 In Rock, Paper, Scissors

Rohan vs the Rock Paper Scissors Kid

The best fight involving Rohan is when he fought Ken Oyanagi. Rohan had to defeat Ken in rock-paper-scissors. The stakes were high because if Rohan lost, Ken's Boy II Man would take in all of his stand's power. Rohan used Shizuka to cheat and win, but Ken wanted another game. Rohan fought him again and the outcome was the same. After failing to win again, Ken threw himself in front of a truck, but he was saved by Rohan.

3 HATED: Not Placing Trust In Others

Kishibe Rohan in JoJo OVA

He has a big problem in trusting other people including his friends. He had very bad relations with Josuke and Okuyasu. Even Koichi was reluctant to help him. Rohan's attitude was a key factor that made others around him feel uncomfortable, and most of the times Rohan wouldn't ask anyone for help.

2 LOVED: Helped Track Down Kira

Rohan uses his stand on Kira's son

It is very easy to overlook Rohan's contribution to Kira's capture. Rohan gave his everything to help find the killer of Reimi. He was the one who clicked the photos of different people, which led him to Kawajiri Hayato. This was the turning point in the search for Yoshikage Kira. For once, Rohan decided not to make everything about himself.

1 HATED: Didn't Use His Stand Properly

Rohan's Heaven's Door

A lot of fans were disappointed with Rohan's usage of Heaven's Door. The stand is undoubtedly very powerful and Rohan could have used it to become invincible. He could simply write instructions on other people and make them defenseless. He could definitely put his stand to more use and it's a real shame that he didn't.
