JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has a total of eight parts so far. Each part is unique in its own way and every fan has their own personal favorite. Diamond is Unbreakable is the fourth installment in the series. The main character in part 4 is Josuke Higashikata.

The part has tons of great characters and a good story to top things off, but it isn't entirely perfect. Like the other parts, Diamond is Unbreakable has its pros and cons. Here, we will be taking a gander at five things that fans loved about part 4 and five things they hated.

10 LIKED: Josuke Meeting His Father

Josuke's life was going pretty well even without knowing who his dad really was. He lived with his mother and his grandfather in Morioh, and Josuke only found out about his father when Jotaro arrived in the town. After the revelation that Joseph is his father, the fans wanted to see a father and son meet up. It did happen, byt when Jotaro needed help to find out more about the arrow he asked Joseph to come down to Morioh. Josuke even protected his dad from Otoishi Akira's attack.

9 HATED: Toxic Yukako

4 yukako

Yukako is the classic case of "don't judge a book by its cover." On the surface, Yukako looks like a normal high school girl, but that couldn't be any further from the truth. She loves Koichi and was willing to go to any lengths to make him fall in love with her. Yukako kidnapped Koichi when he turned her down, which is frankly quite disturbing. She tortured him and it left him mentally exhausted.

8 LIKED: Jotaro and Josuke Teaming Up

Josuke meets jotaro

In part 4, Jotaro and Josuke teamed up to beat a couple of...mice. But they weren't any ordinary mice; they were shot with the stand arrow,  so there was a chance that they might wreak havoc if left unchecked. Jotaro took Josuke with him to hunt the mice. The mice had very dangerous stands, which turned the body of a human into goo.

They got rid of the first mouse quickly, but the second mouse, Bug-Eaten, gave them a lot of trouble. Jotaro placed his trust in Josuke and acted as bait to lure out the mouse. Jotaro would have died if Josuke hadn't gotten rid of Bug-Eaten.

7 HATED: Shigechi Dying

Shigechi and his harvests in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Shigechi came off as the most annoying kid in the neighborhood, but he was actually a very nice boy. He helped Josuke and Okuyasu get a lot of money. Also, it was Shigechi who found out about Kira Yoshikage. Shigechi seemed crass, but he was smart enough to steal a button from Kira's coat, which proved to be the decisive lead. The evidence came at the cost of his own life, which left fans with tears in their eyes.

6 LIKED: Josuke Not Killing Kira

Kira fights Josuke

Josuke has one thing in common with the great Jonathan Joestar and that is both of them are extremely kind. Josuke's stand is capable of healing others, which is nice. As pointed out by Jotaro, Josuke's stand ability is really rare. Jonathan could never hurt any person; he even felt sympathy for Dio Brando, so Josuke is very akin in this regard. Despite knowing about Kira's sordid acts, he spared him and didn't kill him.

5 HATED: Mystery Behind Josuke's Hero

As a baby, Josuke's life was in peril. He had a terrible fever, so his mother had to take him to the hospital. Unfortunately, the weather was really bad and then their car got stuck.

Tomoko was scared that she might lose her son, but a passer-by saw their plight and helped them out. Josuke was inspired by the man who saved his life and he copied his hairstyle. Sadly, the real identity of Josuke's hero is never revealed in the series.

4 LIKED: Joseph Adopting The Invisible Baby

Shizuka's invisibility puts her in danger (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)

While Joseph and Josuke were spending some time together, they came across the most extraordinary thing— an invisible baby. The invisible baby had a stand that turned her and everything around invisible (if she felt threatened). Joseph and Josuke had to work quite a lot in order to save the baby from trouble. Also, Joseph decided that he'd adopt the baby and named her Shizuka Joestar.

3 HATED: Cheating Joseph

Tomoko Higashikata

Joseph is one of the best characters created by Araki. He is funny and he basically carried Battle Tendency with his outstanding wit. Joseph was a great father to Holly, but the same can't be said when it comes to Josuke. Joseph didn't even know that he had a son. Tomoko was left on his own to raise Josuke.

2 LIKED: Jotaro Beating Up Kira

Jotaro beats up Kira

Jotaro had a major role in part 4. While he was trying to find out the killer's identity in the shoe shop, Kira managed to injure Jotaro severely with his Sheer Heart Attack. Kira was strutting around believing that he managed to get rid of Jotaro and Koichi, but he was proven wrong quickly. Jotaro managed to beat Kira and his Killer Queen in a matter of seconds. It was a really amazing fight.

1 HATED: Too Dragged Out

The biggest difference between Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is Unbreakable is that the former gave the fans a feeling of adventure. Part 4 is set in the town of Morioh and there is really no sense of adventure. The part feels dragged out especially when Kira changes his face.
