JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a serial story with more than one protagonist. In the fifth story arc, Golden Wind, the hero is none other than Giorno Giovanna, who wields the Stand Gold Experience. But in a few ways, this Joestar hero is actually upstaged by his new squad boss, Bruno Bucciarati, who also suffered in Italy's cruel underbelly.

Bruno Bucciarati didn't let this experience break him, however. It actually made him kinder, and he is determined to clean up Italy's streets, one after another, and purge it of crime and drugs. In fact, Bucciarati's own Stand, Sticky Fingers, elegantly symbolizes his methods and personality, and it fits well within the squad that he leads.

Of course, it's possible for Bruno to use his Stand to lethal effect; for example, he once killed an enemy, Pesci, by tearing him apart with his own fishing line, then breaking up his body with zippers. But as a whole, Sticky Fingers represents how creative and resourceful Bruno can be, much like Jotaro Kujo. Bruno's mission isn't to go on a killing spree; he's aiming right for the top, and progress will follow.

What's more, Bruno is an optimist, and he is certain that no matter what kind of dead-end he may run into, he can find a way out, and open a door to the future. Indeed, his Stand can punch a surface to create a giant zipper, and with it, Bruno can pass right through walls, sometimes allowing his friends to go with him. Just when the enemy, like Diavolo and his Stand, think they've got Bruno cornered, he'll prove them wrong.

Bruno's ability also makes Sticky Fingers a team player, since it has a healing effect. This is Bruno's gentle side; he looks out for his squad-mates and can use zippers to reattach severed body parts or seal wounds until the patient can get proper medical attention. Bruno can also allow his allies to pass through zipper-portals to help them escape, or even help them launch an ambush on the enemy. For example, Bruno can wait until the enemy passes by a wall or barrier, then Sticky Fingers will make a hole and a fellow Stand, like Purple Haze, can strike out of nowhere and take the enemy by surprise.

Lastly, Sticky Fingers is capable of capture and non-lethal beatdowns with those zippers, since it can split the enemy's body into pieces without killing them, but still render them immobile. Bruno is more the type to capture the enemy to get intel on the boss, rather than have fun slaughtering everyone, and Sticky Fingers makes that possible. Then again, Bruno does have his brutal side, especially when he's emotionally distressed, and he can use those zippers for torture or execution if he sincerely wants to.

He unzipped Mario's head from his body and allowed his fellows to torture Mario, and he can undo his zippers on an enemy's body to split them apart, as though sliced by a sword. Bruno couldn't express the multiple facets of his personality so well if he had a blunt Stand like Purple Haze, for example, or an all-offense Stand like Aerosmith, which belongs to the troubled Narancia Ghirga.

In the context of Bruno's entire squad, it's even more obvious that each Stand represents its owner well, most of all Sticky Fingers. The Stand is multi-faceted, standing for Bruno's stubborn hope for the future, non-lethal methods, team-oriented thinking and his hidden ruthless streak. Meanwhile, Sex Pistols is the Stand of Guido Mista, a precise and offense-oriented Stand that mostly represents cold, calculated brutality, which is a remarkable contrast with Mista's generally easy-going personality.

Narancia is hotheaded and reckless, and that is represented well with Aerosmith, an all-offense Stand that can gun down the enemy while stalking them through the streets with its radar mode. Pannacotta Fugo is tough and brutal, despite his scholarly ways, and his Stand, Purple Haze, demolishes all foes with its super-virus punches. Abbacchio was a cop, who needed more than brute force; he needed intel and forensic data to solve a case, and that's what his Stand, Moody Blues, can do with its past-reading abilities.

As a whole, the Stands of Bruno's squad mirror their users quite well (possibly aside from Mista), and none of these Stands represent their wielders better than Sticky Fingers, the stubborn Stand that can achieve victory even in the face of overwhelming odds and claim no lives in the process.
