Wrestler Johnny Gargano's Wolverine-inspired ring gear from NXT TakeOver: Toronto is now immortalized in action figure form.Gargano took to Twitter in early February to share images of his action figure from Mattel, depicting him in the yellow, red and blue costume reminiscent of the suit worn by Wolverine in Marvel's X-Men comics. Being sold through the official WWE Mattel Store on Amazon, the Johnny Gargano (NXT TakeOver: Toronto) action figure measures approximately 6-inches tall and feature various points of articulation for pose and play action, as well as True FX enhanced facial detailing for life-like authenticity. The figure also comes with two pairs of interchangeable hands and a removable sleeveless jacket similar to the one originally worn by Gargano.

Fans will recall that Gargano first debuted the Wolverine-inspired costume at NXT TakeOver: Toronto, the WWE Network event produced by WWE for their NXT brand division that took place on Aug. 10, 2019, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. During the event, Adam Cole beat Gargano in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match to retain the NXT Championship.

No stranger to superhero-inspired looks, Gargano has previously worn outfits in the ring inspired by Hawkeye, Thor, The Dark Phoenix, Iron Man, Captain Marvel and more.

In July 2020, the Johnny Gargano NXT TakeOver: Toronto action figure was teased as part of the WWE and Mattel panel during IGN's Comic-Con@Home. Then, it was revealed that WWE's 2021 Fan Takeover line would consist of figures wearing ring-gear voted on by fans.

At the time of this writing, details about the figure's price and sale date have not been revealed.
