The myth, the legend... John Wick is back, and New York Comic Con attendees were the first to see the debut of the anticipated sequel's teaser trailer. Of course, those unable to attend the event aren't far behind them; the footage was immediately released online following its NYCC premiere.
Keanu Reeves is joined by returning cast members John Leguizamo, Bridget Moynahan, Tom Sadowski, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick in "John Wick: Chapter 2," along with several new faces, including his "Matrix" series co-star Laurence Fishburne. SPOILER WARNING: John's new dog survives... the first trailer, at least.
Produced for just $20 million, “John Wick” became a surprise 2014 hit for Lionsgate, grossing $78.7 million worldwide.
With Reeves in the title role, “John Wick: Chapter Two,” directed by Chad Stahelski, also stars Common, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, John Leguizamo, Ruby Rose, and Laurence Fishburne. The film is scheduled for release on Feb. 10, 2017.
