Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips and Elizabeth Breitweiser's Image Comics series Kill Or Be Killed is getting a film adaptation from John Wick director Chad Stahelski and producer Basil Iwanyk.

Having launched in the Summer of 2016, the still-ongoing Kill Or Be Killed comic series follows a College student who survives a suicide attempt. Confronted by a demon, who reveals he spared his life, the student is allowed to live as long as he kills another person, per month, for the rest of his life.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dan Casey, who wrote the script for the in-development film version of Brubaker and Phillips' Incognito, is set to pen the screenplay for Kill Or Be Killed.

In addition to his independent projects gaining traction in Hollywood, Brubaker's creation The Winter Soldier was of course introduced in the second Captain America film, which was heavily inspired by his comics work with artist Steve Epting over at Marvel. Kill Or Be Killed is just the latest in a long list of Brubaker projects being developed for the big screen.

The Kill Or Be Killed film adaptation doesn't have a release date.
