The cast of John Wick: Chapter 4 has gotten even larger, with From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series' Marko Zaror currently in negotiations to join the hunt for Keanu Reeves' aging assassin.

According to Deadline, Zaror's role is described as "one of Wick's main pursuers." The actor, who played Zolo in the TV continuation of Robert Rodriguez's 1996 action-vampire film, also had a lead role in the 2020 action film Invincible, not to be confused with Amazon Prime Video's superhero series of the same name. His other notable appearances include Rodriguez's Alita: Battle Angel and Machete Kills.

Alongside Zaror, a number of major stars have been announced for John Wick: Chapter 4 across the past few months. Most notably, Donnie Yen, known for his roles in the Ip Man franchise and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will play an unknown ally from Wick's past. Other names include singer Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada (Mortal KombatArmy of the Dead), Bill Skarsgård (The It films) and Scott Atkins, the last of whom recently starred alongside Yen in Ip Man 4: The Finale. Reeves' previous co-stars Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Laurence Fishburne will also reprise their roles as Winston, Charon and the Bowery King, respectively.

The John Wick films follow Reeves' titular protagonist who, after losing a dog gifted to him by his deceased wife, goes on a path of vengeance against the dog's killers using his contacts as an infamous assassin. The first film's success led to two equally well-received sequels -- John Wick Chapter 2 and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum -- both of which saw Wick forced back into the assassin world he left behind and eventually declared "excommunicado" after breaking one of its sacred rules.

The franchise's fourth sequel, initially scheduled to release in 2021, was ultimately delayed a year by the coronavirus (COVID-19)I pandemic, though it was recently confirmed that filming on John Wick: Chapter 4 had started. In addition to the film, a John Wick prequel TV spinoff called The Continental is being developed for Starz, which will follow Winston's early years as owner of the New York Continental hotel during the 1970s.

Keanu Reeves and the rest of the John Wick: Chapter 4 cast will make their way to theaters on May 27, 2022.
