WARNING: The following contains spoilers for John Wick: Chapter 3 -- Parabellum, in theaters now.

Director Chad Stahelski's John Wick saga will officially roll on, since John Wick Chapter 4 has been confirmed with a 2021 release date.

Lionsgate used a text message service as part of its promotional campaign for John Wick: Chapter 3 -- Parebellum, and this service has now informed fans as conveniently as ever that the release date will be May 21, 2021.

"You have served," read the message, "You will be of service. John Wick: Chapter 4 is coming - May 21, 2021." This riffs off of how the hitmen respond to the assassins' guild, namely the High Table, as we saw so many of them pledging fealty in this third chapter to the powers-that-be after John went rogue.

The latest film followed Keanu Reeves' John on the run, seeking amnesty after breaking Continental rules and murdering one of the fraternity on its grounds.

Wick's most recent cinematic adventure ended on a sequel-driven note with John being betrayed by Ian McShane's Winston at the New York Continental and left for dead. However, he agreed to team up with the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) to take the High Table down once and for all.

Directed by Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum stars Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Halle Berry, Jason Mantzoukas, Lance Reddick and Anjelica Huston.
