Many of us may have been operating under the impression the third installment of the John Wick franchise is called simply John Wick: Chapter 3. However, it turns out we were wrong.

"Prepare for war," he told the website. "It’s part of that famous sentence, 'Si vis pacem, para bellum,' which translates as, 'If you want peace, prepare for war.'"

The film picks up shortly after the events of 2017's John Wick: Chapter 2, with Reeves' titular hitman on the run because of a $14 million contract on his life. It's retribution for breaking a cardinal rule by taking a life at the Continental Hotel. Although he should have been executed immediately, Winston (Ian McShane) gave John a one-hour grace period before his membership was revoked, he's banned from all Continental services and cut off from other membership.
