John Krasinski (The OfficeA Quiet PlaceJack Ryan) has reportedly met with Marvel Studios regarding various projects set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to Geeks WorldWide, Marvel Studios has held virtual meetings with actors, directors and writers while Hollywood is shut down due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The former star of The Office has long been rumored and a part of fan castings to portray Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic of the Fantastic Four. He previously lobbied to play Mister Fantastic in February, stating, "I would love to be in the Marvel universe," and double-downed on his statements in March.

"I think to be a part of the Marvel world would be amazing anyway, and the fact that people would even consider me for that level of a part would be amazing," he said. "I genuinely have had no conversations or don't know anything that's happening with that. I'm awaiting Kevin's announcements of what the Hell's happening with that as much as you are."

If Krasinski doesn't fill the role of the Fantastic Four's leader, he could play another MCU character either on the big screen or as a part of a Disney+ streaming series.
