Ever since the Fox/Disney merger, Marvel fans have been hoping to see the Fantastic Four join the Marvel Cinematic Universe -- and many of them agree on who should play Mr. Fantastic: John Krasinski.

The Jack Ryan star and A Quiet Place Part II director has previously expressed interest in the role, and now he has reiterated that he is still very much up for it. "You’re like, 'Do you have any interest in not shattering people’s dreams?'" Krasinski told Total Film with a laugh. "I would love to be in the Marvel universe. I love those movies because they’re fun, but I also think they’re really well done. And certainly a lot of my friends are in those movies. I have no idea what [Marvel] are thinking. But if they are considering me for Mr. Fantastic, continue to consider me because I would love it."

Jungle Cruise star (and Krasinski's wife) Emily Blunt has also been fan-cast as Susan Storm, aka the Invisible Woman. Recently, the actor reportedly met with Marvel to discuss an undisclosed role. However, while Marvel reacquired the movie rights to these characters, the studio has yet to announce a Fantastic Four movie.

The next entry in the MCU will be Black Widow. Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz as Melina. The film opens on May 1, 2020. Krasinski's A Quiet Place II hits theaters March 20.
