As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the world, there is an abundance of misinformation and conspiracy theories surrounding the nature of the virus and how best to combat its spread.

Teaming up with talk show host John Oliver, WWE Superstar John Cena helped debunk false information while showing off his physical assets to convince viewers to get to the truth of the global health crisis. Appearing on the HBO talk show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Cena stripped off his clothes while explaining the importance of viewers verifying sources while doing important research on things like coronavirus.

To underscore his point, Cena revealed that both he and Oliver were born on the exact same day -- April 23, 1977 -- despite their vastly different physical appearances. The strip sequence is part of a wider video campaign by the HBO series to promote greater awareness and truth in facts. Among the celebrities who appeared in the video to urge fans to properly verify information were Paul Rudd, Catherine O'Hara and Billy Porter.

For fans interested in searching for the truth and Cena's impromptu striptease, a full video of the salaciously truthful performance was also released by HBO.
