Director Travis Knight's Bumblebee will hit theaters next month, and a new clip from the spinoff film showcases what the movie's action will look like.

The clip, which is available on YouTube, shows John Cena's Burns pursuing Bumblebee through a forest and firing their weapons at him. The clip ends with Bumblebee chopping down trees in order to block the pursuit. Watching the clip, it's clear that Knight will film the movie's action scenes differently than director Michael Bay, who helmed the previous live-action Transformers movies. Knight's style feels a lot less chaotic and is quite easy to follow.

Cena's character is an agent of Sector Seven, a shadowy organization tasked with tackling extraterrestrial threats. Hailee Steinfeld's Charlie doesn't seem to appear in the clip.

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
