Though Joe Quesada is well known for a lengthy tenure at Marvel as its Executive Vice President, he recently turned his attention to DC's Harley Quinn.During the latest installment of the Drink and Draw podcast, Quesada was joined by artists Dan Panosian and Jeff Johnson, with each artist providing his own take on the Mistress of Mayhem. Quesada decided to draw Harley in her original jester outfit from Batman: The Animated Series, juggling a trio of bombs. "We had a skeleton crew but managed to work our way through it as best we could," Quesada wrote after posting the finished sketch on Twitter.RELATED: James Bond: Joe Quesada Homages Sean Connery's 007 in Tribute Art

During the sketch, Quesada also discussed Harley's history with Panosian and Johnson, specifically her origin in Batman: The Animated Series. First appearing in the episode "Joker's Favor," Harley would go on to become a popular character in her own right -- appearing in DC Comics canon proper as well as video games and films, including James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.

Quesada had previously drawn a sketch of Harley in her New 52 era outfit in April 2020, as part of a series of sketches made during the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Drink and Draw Social Club was started when Panosian and Johnson, alongside Dave Johnson, decided to draw sketches in bars and restaurants. The Drink and Draw Social Club has featured multiple guests including Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and Thor artist Walter Simonson.
