JK Rowling Confirms 'Fantastic Beasts' Is a Trilogy

It's now been confirmed that J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" spin-off series, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," will be released as a trilogy by Warner Bros.

Rowling confirmed over Twitter that the new "Harry Potter" spin-off series will release in three installments, reaffirming suggestions made by Warner Bros. that "Fantastic Beasts -- releasing later this year -- will follow with two sequels:

Releasing in theaters in 3D and IMAX, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" hits screens on November 18, 2016.
