Series artist Clay Mann had previously posted a video of his official cover for Batman/Catwoman #4 to Twitter, which features his step by step process for drawing the cover. Appropriately enough, the process was scored to the song "Helena" by My Chemical Romance. Helena made her first full appearance in Batman/Catwoman #3 as Batwoman.

Batman/Catwoman takes place across the space of three time periods: when Batman and Catwoman first met each other, in the present where they are solving a mystery, and the future where an eldery Selina Kyle seeks vengeance on the Joker after the death of Bruce Wayne. The series, through the present time period, has also introduced the Phantasm -- the alter ego of Bruce Wayne's first love Andrea Beaumount -- to DC Comics canon. Beaumont was introduced as the main antagonist in the Batman: Mask of the Phantasm animated film.

Written by Tom King and illustrated by Clay Mann, Batman/Catwoman #4 goes on sale on March 16 from DC.
