Jim Lee continued his charity auction by unleashing a sketch of Deathstroke from a fan-suggested diptych.

Lee wrote on Twitter, "Day 17 is DEATHSTROKE! The left half of a diptych I made with sketch 16 of the Huntress!" The left half of the diptych shows the DC mercenary ready for combat as he holds two swords. Like the Huntress half, a brooding Batman looms heavy in the background.

The Deathstroke entry is the latest addition to his charity auction for the BINC Foundation. Along with the Huntress and Deathstroke, he has drawn sketches ranging from Sandman to Wonder Girl to characters from his Wildstorm days. Lee has pledged to create 60 sketches over 60 days to help struggling comics retailers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Deathstroke's storied history within the DC Universe began in New Teen Titans #2 in 1980 as the primary adversary of the young superheroes. Eventually, he faced off against more DC superheroes such as Batman and Green Arrow. On screen, the character has appeared on the TV series Arrow and Titans and made a cameo in the DC Extended Universe film Justice League.
