DC publisher Jim Lee continues to sketch characters from the DC Universe as part of his sixty day charity auction for physical comic books stores. His latest sketch features Batman's lovely, yet lethal foe, Poison Ivy.The supervillain was chosen to be the subject of the next piece by the highest bidder on Lee's previous sketch of Cyborg. The Poison Ivy sketch is up for auction on eBay and, at the time of writing, has received bids of over $10,000. Ivy is shown surrounded by vines and vegetation, with a rose tucked behind her ear. This is the second plant themed character Lee has drawn; his previous sketch was of the Avatar of the Green, Swamp Thing.RELATED: Jim Lee Draws Batman to Benefit a Different Charity

Poison Ivy is the alter ego of Pamela Isley, a brilliant scientist who was transformed into a plant-like being after a freak accident. Ivy is best known for her alluring beauty and poisonous kiss, which brings death to her victims. In recent years, the supervillain has often been seen in the company of another Gotham supervillain: Harley Quinn.

All proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC). The BINC is using the funds from Lee's auction to help benefit brick and mortar comic shops, which are struggling as a consequence of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Lee has also delved into other avenues to help support comic book retailers, helping create the #Creators4Comics initiative on Twitter and a joint relief fund between DC and Oni/Lion Forge.
