"Jessica Jones'" Wil Traval Joins "Arrow" as Human Target

"Arrow" Season 5 just picked up another vigilante. TVLine reports that "Jessica Jones" star Wil Traval will play Human Target when the show returns this fall.

According to the character's official description,

A professional bodyguard and master of disguise who assumes the identities of those targeted by assassins, the character (aka Christopher Chance) will appear in Episode 5 when he takes on a new client: Mayor Oliver Queen.

The starring character in Peter Milligan and Edvin Biuković's Vertigo comic series of the same name, Human Target also starred in his own television series on Fox in the early 2010s. While this series lasted two seasons, a 90s ABC show based on the character ran for only seven episodes.

Traval recently appeared in Marvel Television's "Jessica Jones" as Will Simpson, Trish Walker's love interest and burgeoning antagonist. His past credits also include "Once Upon a Time" and "All Saints."

Starring Stephen Amell, Emily Bett-Rickards and David Ramsey, "Arrow" will return to The CW on Wednesday, October 5 at 8 pm EST.
