Alias Investigations is reopening for business this week.

According to a listing on Spoiler TV, Marvel's Jessica Jones will begin filming its third season on June 20 in New York City. That lines up with comments by star Krysten Ritter that production would start "very soon."

The rapid turnaround for the Netflix series comes as a bit of a surprise: Season 2 was just release in March on Netflix, and received an official renewal announcement the following month. The fast-tracked schedule takes the production window from Daredevil, which has recently completed filming of its third season, with a release expected sometime later this year.

While no story details about the upcoming season of Jessica Jones have been released, rumors from casting announcements suggest the private detective will take on superpower-fueled wrestlers. The fighters illicitly obtain their powers through Power Broker Inc., a firm linked in the comics to Dr. Malus, a key figure in Jessica Jones' second season.

With the possibility of super-powered wrestlers playing a significant role in the new season, Jessica is sure to have her hands full.

Streaming now on Netflix, Jessica Jones Season 2 is executive produced by Melissa Rosenberg with Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory, and stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, J. R. Ramirez as Oscar Arocho, Terry Chen as Pryce Cheng, Leah Gibson as Inez Green, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, and Janet McTeer.
