Jessica Jones Season 3 is coming sooner rather than later.

Netflix released a new teaser image for the series that promises it is "coming soon" to the streaming service. The image captures a close-up look at Jessica's desk, which is covered in an assortment of files, keys, whiskey accoutrements and empty pill packets. A business card for Alias Investigations acts as the centerpiece of the shot. Notably, the card is stained by bloody fingerprints.

The new teaser follows Disney's Q1 2019 Fiscal Year Earnings Call, where a Disney representative mentioned Jessica Jones as a source of revenue during the third fiscal quarter of 2019. Since Q3 spans the beginning of April to the end of June, Season 3's release could be imminent, which would explain the new activity on Netflix's sci-fi-centric Twitter account.

Jessica Jones was officially cancelled by Netflix in February. Alongside The Punisher, the series was one of the last Marvel Netflix series to get the ax, following Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Daredevil. At the time of writing, Jessica Jones will be Netflix's last original Marvel series.

The series stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, J. R. Ramirez as Oscar Arocho, Terry Chen as Pryce Cheng, Leah Gibson as Inez Green, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth and Janet McTeer.
