Jessica Jones will return to your television screen sooner than you think.
While a specific release date for the series was not announced, Netflix has revealed its upcoming release schedule for the month of June, which includes the third season of the fan-favorite show.
The final entry in Netflix's June schedule is Marvel's Jessica Jones Season 3, which does not have a specific date attached to it. Instead, it comes with a simple "Coming Soon" promise.
Between Batman Begins, Dark Knight, and Equilibrium, June is a very good month to be a Christian Bale fan. (And who isn’t?) pic.twitter.com/TgeaOOA5Fc— NX (@NXOnNetflix) May 22, 2019
Thanks to Netflix's "New of Netflix US" video, we can even close that window a little bit more. The video, which features the first tease of Jessica Jones' third season, advertises everything coming to the streaming service in the first half of June.
This means Jessica Jones' third season is less than a month away. As it stands, though, very little is known about the upcoming season's storyline.
After Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist were canceled by Netflix, the streaming giant later confirmed that both The Punisher and Jessica Jones had also been axed. Season 3 of the Krysten Ritter-starring series will therefore be the final chapter in Netflix's corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Streaming on Netflix, Jessica Jones is executive produced by Melissa Rosenberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. The series stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, J. R. Ramirez as Oscar Arocho, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth and Janet McTeer. The series will be released sometime in June.
