Former showrunner of A&E's "The Returned," Raelle Tucker, has boarded "Jessica Jones" Season 2 as an executive producer, and will be serving as a writer alongside creator/showrunner Melissa Rosenberg.

According to Deadline, Tucker is filling in for writer Liz Friedman, who departed "Jessica Jones" -- after writing on the acclaimed Season 1 -- to work on her ABC pilot, "Conviction."

"We've had such an incredible response to our first season, on which I've been so fortunate to have an extraordinary team all the way down the line from the fellow writers, executive producers, cast and crew," Rosenberg said, with regard to the addition of Tucker to the staff. "I'm thrilled to have someone as talented as Raelle join our team as writer and executive producer as we delve into Jessica's continued story."

Marvel Television head honcho Jeph Loeb added, "Have to echo Melissa's gratitude to everyone who worked on Season One - and now adding Raelle's awesome skills as a writer and executive producer, we're sure that Season Two will rock."

Starring Krysten Ritter as the titular character, "Jessica Jones" Season 2 is expected to drop this fall on Netflix instant-streaming.
