At the Lexington Comic and Toy Convention, "The Crow" creator James O'Barr spoke about the long gestating "The Crow" film, which -- according to him -- is more of a "re-imagining" than a reboot, and confirmed that Jessica Brown Findlay would join Jack Huston in the film.

Findlay, a British actress who had a recurring role on "Downton Abbey," will play Shelly Webster. Webster is the fiancee of Eric Draven, the Crow's alter ego, who dies the day before their wedding. Her brutal end is what brings Draven back to life in order to avenger her death.

O'Barr confirmed that Huston was cast in the titular role this weekend, following Luke Evan's departure on the film earlier this year. O'Barr is attached to the Relativity Media film as a consultant.
