One way or another, Jeremy Renner's archer alter ego is making his way back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Today, the actor who portrays Hawkeye in the Marvel Studios "Avengers" films took to his WhoSay page to post the image at the right while teasing, "Tues morn. I find myself in costume again. I just can't tell you why. And it still fits!"

And while Comic Book Movie notes that "Avengers: Age of Ultron" reshoots are in the works, Renner's refusal to say why he's back in the black and purple opens the door that he could be working on another Marvel project. Just recently, actor Clark Gregg teased the possibility that the Avenger would appear on ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." while Renner himself discussed a possible part for him in "Captain America: Civil War." And that's to say nothing of Renner's interest in taking Hawkeye out for a solo film.

Between those possibilities and the Marvel method of throwing characters in anything from "Ant-Man" to their incoming Netflix series, fans could be seeing a lot more Hawkeye a lot sooner than they thought. But for now, they'll have to watch out on the edges of the Marvel Universe (and social media) to know for sure.
