With so many different interpretations of Spider-Man swinging across the big screen over the past few decades, it's easy for non-fans to confuse one person who has played Spider-Man with another. That held true on Jeopardy earlier this week when contestants were unable to remember who's currently playing the wall-crawler in the recently released Spider-Man: Far From Home. When tasked by host Alex Trebek to name the actor who plays Spider-Man in the new movie, two of the contestants confused current Spidey Tom Holland with previous actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. The third contestant, however, had it even worse and was completely stumped, their failure shared across the world thanks to an incredulous James Stevenson, Insomniac Games' Community Director, and his Twitter account.RELATED: Tom Holland Drops the F-Bomb in Far From Home Behind-the-Scenes Clip

As mentioned before, it can be a daunting task for people who don't follow along to remember who has played Spider-Man. Just keeping to the movies, we've had Tobey Maguire in Sam Raimi's original trilogy, Andrew Garfield in the two Amazing Spider-Man films and Tom Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And then, if we stretch a bit further, we have Chris Pine and Jake Johnson, who both gave life to Peter Parker in the animated movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
