About Iggy From JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

The Boston Terrier, Iggy, first appears in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure during the second half of the Stardust Crusaders story arc, when Jotaro and his allies must journey to Cairo, Egypt, to defeat Dio Brando. Although Iggy serves as an ally during this arc, he comes across as rather unpleasant and unruly, frequently stealing food, chewing on people's hair and farting in their faces. At times, he even selfishly prioritizes his own safety over that of his companions. His cooperation with Jotaro's crew is begrudging, although he does share a mutual disdain for Dio.

Hirohiko Araki's original JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump on Jan. 1, 1987. It is now one of the most popular shonen series of all time, with over 120 million copies worldwide. The manga's story begins in 19th-century England with the bitter rivalry of Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando, a fatherless boy adopted by the Joestar family. Driven by an insane motivation to rule the world, Dio seeks out the power of an ancient Aztec stone mask in the Joestar family's possession. This motivation begins a journey that spans multiple generations, with the Joestars training to master the powers necessary to stop Dio and a mysterious group called The Pillar Men. As the title suggests, the family encounters many strange allies and enemies along the way.
